The husband of a weight loss influencer has paid tribute to her after her tragic death at just 35.
Mila De Jesus passed away on January 12, just four months after she'd married her husband, George Kowszik, a post on her Instagram page confirmed.
Kowszik has since paid tribute to his late wife in a heartbreaking post on Facebook.

On January 13, he'd wrote: "I am not really good with words and talking here.. I lost my beautiful wife and my best friend yesterday that I love so much for her. I don't know what to say."
And on Tuesday (January 16), Kowszik thanked people for their support during this extremely difficult time.
He wrote: “Everyone of my wife's and I friends and family. Your beautiful kind, caring and loving beautiful words and incredible inspiring PRAYERS... Have instilled such PEACE..in my life of 60yrs on this earth I ever felt."
He continued: “My wife loved me and believe in me through God which impacted my life and hers together.

“I will never ever forget what God has blessed me and my beautiful [wife] and her very wonderful children."
The post concluded: “I'm sorry I can't talk right now.. crying too much. forgive me.”
The tragic news of De Jesus' death was confirmed by her daughter Anna Clara in a post on her social media.

It read: "I, Anna Clara, am posting this condolence note. We are very sad to hear of the passing of our beautiful mother. We appreciate all the prayers and condolences. Continue to pray for us. Thank you."
And tributes have since poured in, with people flocking to send support to the family.
One person wrote: "I'm sorry for your loss. I loved watching Mila's stories. She was enlightened and now she is with God. May God comfort you and her children."

Another replied: "I’m so sorry for your loss, George. She was loved by so many people. I’m sorry you lost her so soon. Praying for you and your family."
A third wrote: "I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying for you."
De Jesus, who was born in Brazil and lived in Boston in the US, became well known online after documenting her weight loss journey.
In November 2023, Mila had marked six years since her surgery.

In a post showing her dramatic transformation, she wrote: “Thirteen years between one photo and another.
“Six years since a decision that changed my life in various aspects.
“On one side, the 22-year-old Mila, and on the other, the 35-year-old Mila.
“Look at how much we’ve changed, how we’ve grown, and what we’ve learned.
