Hillary Clinton's new 'But Her Emails' cap has sold out following an FBI raid at Trump's resort.

Ah, karma, you never know when it will come but it's always fun to watch, or buy - if you fancy getting Clinton's new hat.

Clinton announced the sale of her new hat yesterday, 9 August, just one day after Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate was searched by the FBI.

On Monday, 8 August, Trump's private club in south Florida was raided.

According to reports, the FBI search was part of an investigation into Trump's alleged mishandling of classified documents.

This, Clinton saw as an opportune moment to sell some merch, why?

Well, if you remember way back in 2016 (we know, ages ago) Trump centred his critique of Clinton on her sub-par email security.

The former president went so far as to argue that she'd committed a crime by potentially leaving government documents open to access.

Trump is now being investigated for his handling of government intelligence - namely a claim from New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman, in which she says that Trump tried to dispose of confidential documents by ripping them up and placing them in toilets.

As the investigation into Trump continues, Clinton released the hat on her merch platform Onward Together and tweeted about the collection: "Every 'But her emails', hat or shirt sold helps @onwardtogether partners defend democracy, build a progressive bench, and fight for our values. Just saying!"

She went on to confirm that the products quickly sold out: "That was fast—I'm told hats are now sold out. We'll re-stock ASAP. In the meantime, know that we've got shirts, too."

And, true to her word, she had the hats made available for pre-order within the next hour.

Naturally, people launched into the dumpster fire that is Twitter comments to, well, comment on the new cap.

Hillary also made an enamel pin.

One said: "LOl, Trumpers must be losing their minds from this tweet."

While another quickly chimed in with: "Remember when her house got rai.. oh wait. That was trumps that got raided.. sorry."

While another wasn't having any of it, saying: "Basically celebrating the Clinton corruption. So weird you are putting that into a meme."
