Kevin Hart revealed the exact amount he was paid to star in Jumanji 2

The Ride Along actor confessed to his staggering salary on The Late Late Show.

Kevin Hart has revealed the staggering amount he was paid for Jumanji: The Next Level.

The Central Intelligence actor initially hesitated about answering the question during The Late Late Shows infamous Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts segment.

However, having seen the various disgusting concoctions on offer, the 43-year-old had no other option but to come clean about how much he’d made on the 2019 film.

Renamed Eat Your Hart Out or Speak Your Heart Out in honour of the guest, the regular skit sees celebs answer awkward questions or face disgusting food.

As always host James Corden went first and selected a particularly devilish mixture of cheese, hot sauce and gherkins.

Upon hearing the food being described, Hart told the host: “You didn’t need to give me that.”

Whilst the so-called ‘flaming hot cheese’ wasn’t the worst thing on the table, the actor could barely contain how ill he felt at the sight of what was in front of him.

In fact, the Ride Along star almost lost his lunch before even tasting the food, nearly vomiting at the smell alone.

Thinking the safer option was telling the truth, Hart begged for his first question, but far worse was in store for the actor.

It was hard not to feel sorry for Hart during the skit.

Upon being asked how much he made from the 2019 sequel, Hart could barely contain his giggles as he heard the ‘unbelievable question’.

Corden also continued to tease the comedian, saying: “I imagine in terms of a negotiation you are at your strongest... [they] couldn’t make it without you.”

Even then, Hart rambled about taking a smaller upfront fee rather than admitting to his huge pay cheque.

“See I am a back end-player, so it’s not about what you take upfront….so I took less money, hoping the movie would find amazing success because I’m a team player,” Hart said, before finally mumbling that he’d made between $25-30 million (£20m-£24m).

The Jumanji star should have been celebrating as the film made over $800m worldwide.

Whilst most of us would be shouting that from the rooftop, the actor insisted that it was to do with the sequel's overall success as Jumanji: The Next Level grossed over $800 million worldwide.

The franchise has proved so popular that Hart even teased a third film, telling Variety at the Oscars: “Right now, we got the ball rolling on some big ideas… we’re talking about, of course, another Jumanji.”

Looks like the actor will be getting another bumper payday very soon.
