Rapper Tee Grizzley Makes $200,000 A Month Playing Call Of Duty And GTA

Living the absolute dream

Tee Grizzley has turned a hobby into a money-making empire, revealing that he now earns around $200,000 a month playing Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto.

The rapper – real name Terry Sanchez Wallace Jr – opened up about his profit-making gaming quest while speaking on the latest episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.

Tee explained that he was ‘in the house bored as hell’ during the pandemic, and so he jumped on what a lot of us did during that time by playing video games

Realising how good he is, people recommended that he started streaming and monetising his gaming skills.

“I jumped on the game, they was like, 'You need to stream this s**t. People ain't even going to believe how good you is,’” he said, adding that CoD and GTA are his franchises of choice.

When the music artist saw how much money there was to be made from streaming, he was fully on board.

“There’s people making $100 million, getting $100 million contracts off that s**t," he explained. "People making millions a month, all they do is sit there and play the game."

Host Wallo267 then asked how Tee makes money from it, and he was more than happy to oblige.

“So with me, I’m going to tell you how I personally monetised it, because a lot of people monetise it in different ways,” he said.

“What I did is I created a Grand Theft Auto server called ‘Grizzley World’, so it’s like Grand Theft Auto but everything in there is super customisable, you can do whatever you want.

“I can put that hat in there, I can put that whole outfit in there, this watch – whatever I want to put in there, right? Cars, whatever.

“It represents the trenches, so you can really be in the streets without really having to be in the streets.”

The 28-year-old makes money through the server as people have to pay to get in, and right now he’s got about 90,000 members.

Initially a friend in Canada helped him to set up a server for free, telling him he could make up to $5,000 a month.

But this far surpassed his pal’s predictions, with Tee adding that it ‘turned into damn near $50,000 a week’.

But it’s not just himself he’s helping out with his gaming skills, as Tee went on to explain that he’s helped people to get off the streets this way too.

After they bought a PC, he said: “Now they ain't in the streets no more – now they making $20,000 to $25,000 a month playing this s**t.”

While the rapper continues to make music his main focus, he’s grateful to have found a way to earn money doing something he enjoys.
