50 Cent has apparently taken a swipe at Travis Kelce’s ex in a savage new remark
Fans are buzzing about the timing, coming just as talk of Taylor Swift’s engagement to Kelce heats up.
In what might be one of the most unexpected celebrity clashes right now, 50 Cent was asked about the singer after she gave him a shout out on a song featured on her latest album The Life of a Showgirl.
In the song 'Ruin the Friendship', she places the memory of a missed romance during a high school dance when 50 Cent was at the peak of his popularity.

"But as the 50 Cent song played / Should've kissed you anyway,” Swift sings.
During an interview with Extra, 50 Cent called the shout out 'cool' and 'exciting', adding: “No one was more prominent in music at that point.
“It really is cool because when she makes the reference, if you listen to the song, it’s to what was going on in culture at that time,” he illustrated.
“The music, you couldn’t miss it at that point and that’s why it was cool to me… What she was making reference to is the period that no one was more prominent in music at that point.”

The rapper then shared that he likes 'her boyfriend' and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs: “I like the whole thing.”
When asked if he likes Swift and Kelce together, 50 Cent nodded with a huge grin and gushed: “I do, I like it a lot better than the last thing he had. It’s a lot better.”
The 'In Da Club' hit-maker seems to be referring to Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, influencer Kayla Nicole.

Nicole and Kelce dated from 2017 to 2022, and the Super Bowl champion began dating Taylor in the summer of 2023. They announced their engagement at the end of August, shortly after Taylor announced her new album on the New Heights podcast.
The two stars announced their news on Instagram with a series of photos showing the couple surrounded by flowers, with the caption: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."
While Kayla didn't directly respond to the engagement announcement, she did share a post on her Instagram Story which discussed actively choosing 'joy' in life.

The post featured actor Tracee Ellis Ross, who explained: "I think joy is different from happiness. Happiness is something you can get at 7-Eleven, and joy is something that you earn and work for and takes practice."

Alongside the clip, Nicole wrote: "Read about this very concept years ago in a book called 'Choose Joy: Because Happiness Isn't Enough'. I aspire! So so good."
Meanwhile, some Swifties are convinced that another song on her album called Opalite directly disses Nicole.

"You couldn't understand it, why you felt alone/You were in it for real, she was in her phone/And you were just a post," sings Swift.
Nicole previously spoke openly about the 'overwhelming' experience of going through a public breakup after her split with Kelce.
During an appearance on Special Forces: The World's Toughest Test, Nicole described how being in the spotlight impacted her, saying: "It’s pretty constant and exhausting...
"I could post about the sky being blue and people will have a response about an ex and their new situation. It’s inadvertently affected me to the point where it makes me question my overall value as a person."
