Bunnie Xo reveals where her baby plans stand following Jelly Roll divorce

Bunnie Xo has said that she still has plans to start a family despite her recent divorce from Jelly Roll.

The pair had been married for nearly 10 years, and had spoken previously about their journey in addressing the challenges in their relationship.

In an announcement that shocked fans, the pair confirmed that their marriage would be coming to an end, and have now finalized their divorce after marrying back in 2016.

But despite the separation Bunnie Xo, 46, who hosts the Dumb Blonde podcast, took to Today with Jenna & Sheinelle in an episode that aired on August 20.

“So I definitely still want to have a baby,” she said, “and that’s going to be one of my newest chapters of my next book, and I can’t wait for you guys to read about it because it’s been one hell of a journey, let me tell you.”

However, who she's going to have the baby with remains a mystery.

The Dumb Blonde episode announcing the divorce was shared on June 18, and has since been deleted, but in the episode she shared that despite their separation 'We're still having a baby.'

“We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered," she said. "We're going to co-parent together."

She explained that their plan would include using IVF and then a surrogate.

While she told Today with Jenna & Sheinelle that she still had plans to start a family, Bunnie Xo did not specify whether this would be with her ex.

She had previously opened up about their earlier relationship in her podcast.

"When I met him, I tell everybody it's the most f--king cliché s--t, but literally my soul was like, 'There you are,'" she said in 2023.

"And he's not my type. I'm not his type. He loves Taylor Swift. That's his type."

Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, is already a father to Bailee Ann, 18, and Noah Buddy, 9, from previous relationships.

At the time, Bunnie Xo said that the divorce had hit her hard, sharing on Dumb Blonde: "I was not eating. I wasn’t drinking. I couldn’t even stand up, because I was so f****** devastated.

"I was on the floor screaming, crying, because I could not understand what the f*** was going on."

But things seem to be looking up now. Bunnie Xo shared that she has been 'thriving' since the divorce, revealing that she is 'having the freaking time of my life' and that it is 'so much fun'.

Opening up about the change, she said on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle: “I know when something like that that’s deeply personal happens, it’s beautifully tragic, but at the same time there’s always a silver lining, there’s always something better to look forward.”

She added: “There’s so much more to talk about with me especially, and with women, than their past lovers and people in their lives.”
