A Burger King employee who was videoed running an entire restaurant for 12 hours alone has issued a fresh update on her life after being fired.
Nykia Hamilton went viral in July after she was seen running an entire Burger King restaurant in Columbia, South Carolina on her own.
The single mother-of-three was manning the front desk and the drive-thru counter of the store completely alone, as well as making all of the food for hungry customers.
“[She’s] doing the fries, the burger, the chicken sandwiches. She’s doing everything by herself,” the customer said in the original TikTok video. “She’s doing everything she needs to do to make sure everybody is okay in here.”

As per WACH Fox 57, Nykia claimed she was working by herself due to staff shortages after someone left the company on short notice.
“Had to do the dishes, do prep, do the floor, do the front counter, drive-thru,” she said.
Sadly, she later claimed on TikTok that she had been fired by Burger King, a reason she claimed was due to being 'late because of my kids'.

The 25-year-old said: "My kids come first. Y’all don’t pay for no babysitter, or nothing."
Prior to being allegedly fired, Hamilton told WACH Fox 57 she used to work more than 12 hours in a shift, as she has three mouths at home that need feeding.
“I be missing out on my kids’ lives when I work so much,” she explained. “I have to provide for them, but I really don’t have time to spend with them, and it hurts me a lot.”
She also shared a video of her sore legs on Instagram, due to her long hours standing.

But Hamilton has now issued a fresh update on her TikTok and Instagram accounts, showing her first ‘get ready with me’ as a new content creator.

It seems that now she has a platform, she's making use of it, and the content is making a lot of people happy.
Her 10-minute-long video shows Nykia waking up her children and getting them ready, talking about their eating habits and generally updating on how they are after she was allegedly let go from her job.

On the whole, it seems like she's taking everything in her stride, and people have noticed her strength.
Followers in the comments were quick to wish her well, and even give her advice on handling herself now that she is unemployed.
One person wrote: “Keep ur head up momma your doing a great job , you have people rooting for you in rooms you arnt in ! single mom to single mom your an inspiration.”
As another scathed: “I'm so sorry they did you dirty, you have grounds to sue for wrongful termination and a hostile work environment. You're a very strong individual and an amazing mom, you'll be taken care of soon.”
While she didn’t mention the Burger King incident in the video, she has previously shared how overwhelmed she is with the ‘love’ she has received since the video went viral.

She shared in another clip that she was going to ‘bless’ her mom thanks to the donations from a GoFundMe - which has reached $74,000 in donations at the time of writing - by paying her rent.
She wrote on the fundraiser: "I am a 25-year-old single mom of 3 who works 2 jobs. I just went viral for working on TikTok. If you wanna contribute, it's ok. Thank y'all for the support.
"I wasn't expecting my life to change how it did. I really do everything for my kids."
