A male companion has disclosed exactly how many marriages he split up in 20 years of offering his 'services'.
Most of us want happy, trouble-free relationships, but Psychology Today estimates that up to one in five people will commit adultery.
From suspicious bank withdrawals to texting with a dodgy number, the signs of cheating aren't always so obvious and often go undetected. And now, one anonymous man who's been facilitating infidelity for two decades has revealed his secrets.
He took to where else but Reddit for an Ask Me Anything, where he not only explained his 'divorce rate,' but also broke down the surprising way husbands would react once they found out.

Clarifying that his post wasn't a 'flex,' he revealed he'd kept his lifestyle totally private and that not even his family are clued up about it.

He claimed he began sleeping with the wives of wealthy business men at the tender age of 19 in 2003 while working at a golf club.
One curious social media user wanted to know if he was ever caught by a spouse, or worried about his safety. The amount is lower than you might think.

He answered: "In just over 20 years of doing this I can only recall five women ever actually getting caught.
"Out of those five, only two ended up divorced. The rest stayed married and surprisingly things did not change much."
He went on to explain exactly why: "The reality is that in these circles the marriages are often more about money image and social positioning than love or exclusivity. A lot of people on the outside do not understand that dynamic."

The man went on to break down exactly how husbands would react after discovering their wives had been unfaithful.
He prefaced that it's a 'rare' occurrence but that husbands often react in one of two ways.
"Either he is quietly fine with it from the start, or he is angry at first but eventually comes to terms with it.
"The reason is simple. Divorce for these men is financially devastating. If she has been with him long enough she could take half or more of his wealth plus ongoing support. Many of them would rather swallow their pride than lose hundreds of millions."

In a spicy turn, he also recounted husbands who were not only aware of the infidelity, but 'directly involved'.
"More times than I can count I have been with a woman while her husband watched. Sometimes it is a control thing for him sometimes it is just voyeurism and other times it is a mutual kink they have kept private for years," he explained.
"It is not as uncommon as people think especially when you are dealing with couples in extreme wealth who are used to getting whatever they want."

When it came to his own safety, the companion says he's 'never' had to face violent husbands, but he has had to quickly leave when some got home earlier than expected.
"You learn early on to be careful to only move in situations that are controlled and to trust the discretion of the women you are seeing," he said.
"For the most part, they are the ones making sure everything stays quiet."
