North West, 13, sparks concern after rapping about 'suffering' and 'betrayal' in dark new song

13-year-old North West is following in her famous father's footsteps and has released her latest track from her debut EP 'N0rth4evr'.

The song called 'Aishite' (which translates to 'love me' in Japanese) was released on August 6 and its dark lyrics have raised eyebrows.

The lyrics to North's latest song discusses things like betrayal, suffering, and being 'saved'.

North is the eldest child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The former couple also share Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and seven-year-old Psalm together.

Part of 'Aishite' goes: "Ain't nobody finna save me / Ay, and it's drivin' me crazy."

Another part of her song's lyrics are: "Just love me, everyone betrays mе. ... She pretend they ain't usin' me again / Can't be no one's friend, I can't let nobody in / Can't depend on anyone, the sufferin' won't end."

Elsewhere North raps about her controversial piercings not being a 'trend', and people talking behind back.

The 13-year-old seemingly has a bridge piercing and a combination of other surface and dermal piercings.

She sparked concerns last year when she appeared to debut hand piercings, which experts warned can easily become infected.

Dr Donald Grant, GP and Senior Clinical Advisor at The Independent Pharmacy, revealed to UNILAD at the time that the piercing is a ‘risky’ choice for anyone to make.

He said: "Dermal piercings, particularly those placed on the finger, carry risks that can easily be underestimated or attributed to more familiar concerns."

Dr Grant went on to warn: "The area is frequently exposed to bacteria through everyday activities, and even small breaks in the surrounding skin can allow an infection to take hold.

"Signs may include increasing redness, warmth, swelling or an unusual discharge, and these can worsen if left unaddressed."

People have since reacted to North's new song and it's horror-themed music video, which has been viewed 41,000 times in 24 hours.

One person commented on it: "This song is really sad. I was depressed at 13 too, hopefully North gets the love and support she needs from somewhere."

A second person wrote: "Honestly when I was her age I was also angsty and I’m sure there’s a lot of confusing emotions about her life and experiences at an early age. I hope she is able to express and come to terms with who she wants to be."

"This is so sad, sending you much love North," added another.

Others simply expressed love for the song and said it 'goes hard'.

One of her fans gushed: "Love the music video so much! I know so much effort was put into this! Talented and bright girl."
