Morgan Wallen shocked everyone when he seemingly stormed off stage as the credits began to roll for Saturday Night Live, however, reports have claimed he also 'refused' to do a particular sketch.

The country superstar appeared on the show to sing two of his songs, 'I'm The Problem' and 'Just In Case', as the musical guest for SNL, with celebrity host this time being Anora star Mikey Madison.

At the end of the show, the music star and the host typically stay on the stage to mingle with the cast and congratulate them, but Wallen instead abruptly left the stage.

Not only that, but Wallen appeared to whisper something to Madison, while the other SNL cast mates, like Colin Jost, seemingly reacted to the situation.

Since then, SNL staffers have made allegations about the singer's 'disrespectful' behavior, and now, it's been reported that Wallen allegedly 'declined' to partake in a skit.

According to Page Six, Wallen was asked to appear in a sketch called 'Big Dumb Line', however, he 'declined', leading Joe Jonas to replace him.

In the sketch, the cast members were all singing about their favorite things to do in New York.

The source said: "[Wallen] was asked but declined, so they got Joe instead."

After his departure, Wallen made a cryptic post on his Instagram, sharing a picture of a private jet and writing the caption: "Get me to God's country."

Following this, he has now added the phrase to his merchandise, with it being included on hats and t-shirts for $58 and $35 respectively.

However, since he made the announcement on April Fool's Day (April 1), this led many to believe it was a joke, though his team later confirmed this to not be the case.

When asked on the Club Wallen Instagram page, which is the singer's official fan page, whether this was a spoof, the account responded (via Billboard): "No but we see how you’d get there."

Kenan Thompson also gave his thoughts on the situation, telling Entertainment Weekly that his departure was 'so abrupt'.

He continued: “I don’t know what goes through people’s minds when they decide to do stuff like that. I don’t know if [Wallen] understood the assignment or not, or if he was really feeling a certain kind of way.

"You see somebody before you get a chance to say ‘hi’ or say ‘good job’ or anything like that, they just dipping. I thought maybe he had to go to the potty or something… It’s definitely a spike in the norm."

UNILAD has previously contacted Wallen's representatives for comment, and also have contacted Jonas's representative for comment.
