The nostalgia is running hard with this one, as Kenan and Kel are back at it again.

The Good Burger 2 teaser has officially dropped today after the original flick was released nearly three decades ago.

Taking place 26 years after the events of the first film, Good Burger 2 will see Dexter reunite with his co-worker Ed at their old workplace, Good Burger.

And, with a new crew working at Good Burger, Dexter devises a plan to get back on his feet. But, unfortunately, that puts the fate of Good Burger at risk once again.

As expected, the internet went into absolute overdrive with the first sneak peek at the follow-up of the beloved 1997 comedy film.

One person wrote: “I can’t wait, bro.”

Another said: “REAL CINEMA IS FINALLY BACK.”

A third commented: “WE ARE GOING TO ROLL THE FATEST BLUNT EVER AND MAKE OR ORDER THE TASTIEST CHEESEBUGERS CANT WAIT.”

While another shared: “LET'S GOOO! GOOD THINGS CAN STILL HAPPEN IN THIS WORLD! Ya'll better not try to whine and sully this with your bs nostalgia. Mine is so excited for this!”

The 1997 comedy - based on the Nickelodeon sketch All That, starring Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson, Good Burger followed Dexter Reed, who takes a job at a fast-food restaurant to pay off damages he made to his teacher's car.

But Kenan and Kel aren’t merely just acting in this long-awaited sequel. The comedic duo are also creatively involved in the project.

Earlier in March this year, Kenan and Kel said they were extremely ‘excited’ for people to see the sequel shortly after reading the script.

"The script is really amazing. Kenan and I had an amazing time at the table read, and it's been great to figure out all the surprises. We have a lot of surprises in the script that we're excited for people to see,” Kel told Entertainment Weekly.

"We just wanted to make sure that this was a fun watch for everyone who has watched us over the years. I'm really excited to bring this to the world."

Kenan added that he felt incredibly ‘blessed’ to be reunited with his old co-star.

“He's one of the funniest people I've ever met. When we spend hours upon hours upon hours, it's just all laughs and good times.

"And I'm really excited to open this new chapter up — this reunited adventure we are going to go on together,” he said.

Good Burger is slated for a November 2023 release on Paramount+.
