The third season of Netflix's Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders dropped on Netflix today, June 16. What many may not know is the 23 rules the team reportedly have to follow.
The new series of the hit Netflix show sees 30 of the prior season returning to audition for the cheerleading team, who represent NFL team the Dallas Cowboys.
Twenty five of the thirty-two National Football League teams currently have cheerleading teams - and the competition to represent the Dallas Cowboys is tough. After passing the audition process, cheerleaders reportedly must follow 23 rules.
This season, there are only six coveted spots remaining for rookie candidates, which include Savanna, Parker, and Faith, but who will make it?
Highlighting how sought after a spot is, newbie Faith even travelled all the way from New Zealand.
Titled America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the first season followed the team across 2023-2024. The show documented squad through their auditions, training camp, and the NFL season.
Season one landed on Netflix last year, and it quickly caused a stir as viewers said it was 'so upsetting' and urged the streamer to put a trigger warning on it.
While it can be a hard watch at times, people were (and still are) gripped by the America's Sweethearts and season one boasts a very, very impressive 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, the second season was released on the streamer in 2025 - and now, it's back for season 3.
