John Stamos had Mary-Kate and Ashley fired from Full House at 11 months old because they cried

He couldn't take it anymore and had them taken off the set to be replaced by another duo.

John Stamos has opened up about the difficulty in filming Full House when his co-stars were barely old enough to walk.

You know what they say about show business: don't work with kids or animals.

And it appears Stamos took that seriously as he recently revealed he had Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen fired from the show.

It's difficult imagining Full House without the child stars, however it could have looked very different if Stamos stuck to his guns.

The man who played Jesse Katsopolis told the Good Guys podcast: "We’re doing the scene. Joey and I were changing the baby, right?

"And Danny [Bob Saget] is gone and said, ‘Take care of the kids'. ‘Yeah, we got it. We got it'.

“So, we’re carrying the baby downstairs and we take her in the kitchen and we hose her down.

"And she was screaming. Both of them.

"They wanted to be anywhere else but there, and so did I.”

“They were 11 months old, and god bless them. They kept switching: ‘This one’s not gonna cry'.

"I couldn’t deal with it. And I said, ‘This is not gonna work,’ and I screamed it 10 times.

"I said, ‘Get rid of them, I can’t work like this'. And so they got rid of them.

"They bring on these two redheaded kids… I’m sure their parents loved them and thought they were attractive… It had nothing to do with [them being] redheaded, but they weren’t attractive.”

So, he had them fired.

Even though they were only 11 months old, he was done.

Sadly for him, the new kids who were brought in proved to be just as difficult and it only took a few days before Mary-Kate and Ashley were invited back.

Full House turned out to be a humungous launchpad for the Olsen twins.

They won loads of awards for their performances on the show in the early '90s and cemented their spot in Hollywood at an incredibly young age.

While most kids struggle with making sure they do all their homework, Mary-Kate and Ashley were busy learning lines and cues so they could get every scene perfect.

But, it's been more than a decade since we saw them on camera in a fictional role as the two actors have since transitioned to fashion design.
