Fans of Elizabeth Olsen have been shocked after finding out that she has way more siblings than just Mary-Kate and Ashley.
In fact, the Godzilla actor has several brothers and sisters, many of whom also work in the entertainment industry.
Despite this, Olsen wasn’t always so happy being part of a famous family, and even tried to distance herself from her Full House sisters as a kid.

Though she made peace with her famous siblings since then, the 34-year-old admitted that she knew ‘what nepotism was’ from an early age.
In a previous interview, Olsen told Glamour: “I guess I understood what nepotism was like inherently as a 10-year-old. I don’t know if I knew the word, but there is some sort of association of not earning something that I think bothered me at a very young age.”
Eager to avoid this, the Marvel actor almost changed her surname to something less well-known – despite her strong resemblance to Mary-Kate and Ashley.
However, she insisted that it had nothing to do with how ‘proud’ she was of her sisters and more about her own worries about auditioning at that time.
“…it had everything to do with my own insecurities,” Olsen said in a telling moment, adding: “I did think, ‘I’m just gonna be Elizabeth Chase,’ you know, when I become an actress. And I can’t believe I became an actress.”
Much like her WandaVision counterpart though, the actor has become much more comfortable with her famous family and they regularly spend time together when she’s not taking over the MCU.
In addition to the Full House actors, Olsen has three other siblings, including an older brother, younger brother and sister from her dad David's second marriage.
Surprisingly, most of the family are in the entertainment industry, with the eldest brother, Trent Olsen, working in film production and being a writer for Storm King Comics.
He’s not the only one though as half-sister, Courtney Olsen, has also appeared on the big screen in films Yolo: The Movie and Malignant Spirits: Sense of Fiction.
Even baby brother Jake turned his hand to modelling as a younger man and spoke about what life was like growing up with such a big family.
He told Runway magazine: "In a family of six kids, you learn it’s not always about you. I love every chaotic moment I have when my family is all together. It’s a lot more normal than you would think...we all support each others dreams."
With that mindset, we are sure the family will continue to go far!
