Sharon Osbourne has shared her first social media post since the death of rock legend, Ozzy Osbourne.

On July 22, it was announced to the world that Ozzy Osbourne had died at the age of 76.

Osbourne had been struggling with his health in the latter years of his life, such as Parkinson's Disease.

On that devastating day, his cause of death was ruled as a heart attack, and it was announced that he was surrounded by his loved ones until the end.

The Osbourne family had spent time together in the UK before his death, as the Black Sabbath frontman performed his final gig on July 5 in his hometown, Birmingham, where his wife and children attended behind the stage.

When news broke that Osbourne had passed, the UK gathered in mass mourning, and tributes poured in to wish his family well during their time of need.

His grieving family took to Birmingham’s streets on July 30, to mourn with music fans.

Osbourne's hearse carried Ozzy's body around the city as fans lined the streets with banners, posters, gifts and cheers.

It was the last time the public saw or heard from Sharon, who was visibly bereft during the procession.

Now, nearly two months on from his death, she has come back to social media to update everyone on her life, and how she is coping with her loss.

The video, which she posted to her Instagram account, shows her and daughter Kelly, getting in touch with nature.

Specifically, calling owls to perch on top of their hands.

Alongside the post, Sharon wrote that she’s 'still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful’ she is for the ‘overwhelming love and support’ fans online have shown her since her husband’s death.

She admitted: “Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights.

“Though I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with.”

She explained that ‘the connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence’ and that they are the ones who choose whether or not to perch and will only do so ‘if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them’.

Revealing ‘it’s a bond I know all too well’, she went on to say, 'the experience was nothing short of magical'.

In the end, she said to fans: “I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.”

Fans were overjoyed to see Sharon enjoying her time with the animals, and wrote messages of support below the video.

One person wrote: “the world loves you momma osbourne.”

Another said: “Sending so much love! Owls are great for healing.”

Someone else said: “Ozzy will always be forever not forgotten. Show much respect and love to the whole family.great you all got to spend time with some beautiful animals and each other family means everything.”
