Sabrina Carpenter's outfit is the latest to cause a stir from the Met Gala red carpet.
The 'Please Please Please' singer is no stranger to causing controversy - just take a look at the so-called 'Juno' positions she's acted out while on her recent international Short n' Sweet tour.
Now, Carpenter is the latest to rock up to the Met Gala red carpet, serving up an outfit that adheres to this year's dress code while giving a gracious nod to the hit that catapulted her to fame.

As it's fashion's biggest night of the year, dozens of Hollywood's most famous faces are already strutting the red carpet in all their glitzy fits, all to raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in Manhattan, New York.
This year's theme follows the constructs of 'Black dandyism,' aligning with the Costume Institute's 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' exhibition from May 10 to October 26.
The dress code invites attendees to make it 'Tailored for You,' focusing on a variety of tailored suiting styles and menswear with some generous wiggle room for interpretation.

And it appears the 'Espresso' hitmaker has done exactly that, opting for a espresso-colored leotard with tailored espresso-colored blazer to boot and a trail resembling ties in - you guessed it, espresso color, with only a dash of white around the collar.
Racing to social media, many said they loved the look on her.
"She is so Espresso! Heck yes!" said one on Twitter, as a second added: "Espresso suit I LOVE. Sabrina Carpenter the woman you are."
"Looking like a freshly brewed cup of espresso!" read another comment.

"She GOT THE ASSIGNMENT!!!!," another very happy fan penned.
However, not everyone were diehard fans of the look as while admitting it was 'on brand' for her, dozens more said they wanted something a bit more from the star.
"Cute," said one. "Just wish she would do something different to her hair."

"It’s cute kinda expected more but she definitely serving espresso," a second agreed, while a third added: "This would have looked so good with a different bottom silhouette like a dramatic skirt of pant."
"I think it’s cute and I love my girl but she played it very safe and that’s so not what the met is for!!!" another waded in.
Carpenter's fit isn't the only one to turn heads tonight, from Sydney Sweeney's all-black ballroom-esque fit to Simone Biles short blue dress.
