Kim Kardashian told she has ‘low brain activity’ in shocking moment following potentially life-threatening diagnosis

Kim Kardashian was left in disbelief after being told by a doctor that she has 'low-brain activity' following a scan for life-threatening conditions.

In the recent episodes of The Kardashians, Kim has been open with her fans, discussing her health and the potential issues she could face.

In an episode last week, Kim spoke with her sister Kourtney Kardashian about being told she had a brain aneurysm.

Kim had gone for a full-body MRI scan, known as a prenuvo scan, for an early diagnosis.

Kim told her sister: “I did a Prenuvo scan, and they called me today, and they’re like, 'Everything looks great. But you have an aneurysm in your brain.'

"They’re like, 'It’s been there for like years. It was here a few years ago'.”

While things could be completely fine for the reality star, having a brain aneurysm can prove to be fatal.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, a brain aneurysm is a weak blood vessel in an artery in or around the brain. While most aneurysms tend to be small and harmless, if they rupture, they can be life-threatening.

In a more recent episode, Kim sat down with Dr Daniel Amen after going to him for further scans on her brain.

During episode six of season seven, Amen, known for his brain imaging technology, spoke to both Kim and Scott Disick about the health of their brains.

For Kim, he started with the good news and told her she had a ‘beautiful’ brain, a comment that made her smile.

He also noted that she does not have a high risk for Alzheimer’s disease, adding that she is ‘not terribly stressed, not anxious and not depressed,’ based on the scan.

However, he went on to say she had ‘holes’ in her brain scan photo, which indicate ‘low activity’.

He said: “The front part of your brain is less active than it should be. With your frontal lobes, as they work now, it would be harder to manage stress and that's not good for you, especially as you're studying and you're getting ready to take the boards."

Kim replied that it ‘just can’t be’ and she was not accepting it. Amen went on to say that the result could be due to ‘chronic stress’ that the reality star faces every day as she studies for the California bar exam.

He concluded that she now needed to take better steps to manage her stress.
