Kim Kardashian revealed what the doctor told her after it was discovered that she had a brain aneurysm.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, the reality TV star made the shocking revelation to her sister, Kourtney Kardashian. The 45-year-old discussed her recent appointment at the hospital, where she underwent a 'prenuvo scan', which is a full-body MRI scan for early diagnosis.
“I did a Prenuvo scan, and they called me today, and they’re like, 'Everything looks great. But you have an aneurysm in your brain," Kim told Kourtney. "They’re like, 'It’s been there for like years. It was here a few years ago'."
According to the Cleveland Clinic, a brain aneurysm is a weak blood vessel in an artery in or around the brain. While most aneurysms tend to be small and harmless, a ruptured brain aneurysm can be potentially life-threatening.

After her appointment, the All's Fair star said she called a brain surgeon, who then asked her to come in for a check-up after seeing her scans.
"I sent him a picture of it, and he was like, ‘I want you to come in for all this imaging'," she said. "And then I asked, I was like, ‘Can I wait? 'Cause what makes it rupture?’ And they’re like, 'Just stress'."
According to the Cleveland Clinic, ongoing stress can cause a rupture, as well as a 'sudden burst of anger' or a 'strong emotion'.
Unfortunately, the life of the reality star is not short of stressors, from her recent intensive study routine for a law exam to shooting for reality shows, maintaining businesses, and looking after her four children, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West.
Kim also revealed that she'd developed hives due to the stress of studying for her exam.
Kourtney expressed concern for her sister, as she said in her confessional: "I’m definitely worried about Kim. She has so much going on between work and her four kids, that I don’t want her to have an aneurysm, of course."

Her recent attempt at the California bar exam has been stressful for Kim, who later shared an emotional video of herself after learning she hadn't passed.
After her aneurysm diagnosis was revealed in the season 7 premiere, Kim told Good Morning America last month that 'everything works out', telling fans to 'tune in'.
"You'll see in the next episode, I did go and get a Prenuvo scan. And I had to end up going and getting tons of other brain scans at Cedars[-Sinai] with all the team," she said.
"It's just a good measure to go. Make sure that you always check everything. Health is wealth, and you just have to be careful with everything that you do."
