Kim Kardashian has shared a major health update following the news that she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.
The 45-year-old revealed the news in the new season of The Kardashians which began airing last week.
During the first episode, the Skims founder was chatting with her older sister, Kourtney, 46, about a recent hospital visit in which doctors discovered a 'little' aneurysm in her brain.
The Mayo Clinic explains that a brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain, which experts believe grows because blood flowing through the blood vessel puts pressure on a weak area of the vessel wall.

Brain aneurysms are common and most aren't serious, especially if they're small.
However, they can become life-threatening if they rupture.

Kim was later seen having an MRI scan on the show, with the businesswoman at one point saying that doctors had informed her the aneurysm was probably triggered by stress.

Appearing on Good Morning America on Tuesday (October 28), Kim shared an update on her diagnosis.
She told host Robin Roberts: "You'll see in the next episode, I did go and get a Prenuvo scan. And I had to end up going and getting tons of other brain scans at Cedars[-Sinai] with all the team.
"Just tune in next week, but everything works out.
"It's just a good measure to go; make sure that you always check everything.

"And health is wealth, and you just have to be careful with everything that you do."
It's not clear if Kim received treatment for the aneurysm.

Elsewhere in the new season of The Kardashians, Kim touched on her relationship with ex-husband Kanye West, 48.

"People can say that there was, like, signs and maybe I wasn't paying attention to them," she said.
"And I think when someone has, like, their first, like, mental break, you know, you wanna be super supportive and you wanna, like, help figure that out and you wanna really get into that with them and be there for them.
"When you have kids, it's definitely harder to leave than it is to stay. And it changes everyone's life forever."
