A doctor who told Kim Kardashian she has 'low brain activity' has revealed why the diagnosis is 'not good'.
If you've been Keeping Up With the Kardashians, you might remember the mom-of-four was left shook to the core when she was told she had a brain aneurysm.
Kim opened up about the scary moment in an episode of The Kardashians while talking to her big sister, Kourtney.
The 45-year-old star said she had a full-body MRI scan, known as a prenuvo scan, when she got the call from a doctor telling her the aneurysm had been 'there for years'.

Now, the medic who diagnosed her, Dr Amen, famous for his brain imaging technology, has spoken out about what the results mean.
Speaking to Dr Mike on The Checkup with Doctor Mike podcast, the doc explained: "She had sleepy frontal lobes," which he said relates to the 'activity' of mitochondria in the brain, "and she had less activity in the front third of her brain, which means it's gonna go with things like forethought and judgement and impulse control and focus."

Commenting on the fact that Kim is still trying to follow in her late father's footsteps by going to law school, the Doc said the Skims co-founder is 'getting ready to take the bar' and sought the test as she 'wanted to function better'.
Dr Amen noted how he had previously seen the second youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, Kendall, who had 'post-Covid anxiety' while Khloe 'had a traumatic brain injury' following a car crash.
"And they got benefit from my work," he continued. "So, I saw Kim and it just blew up because the little clip they played was her and I talking, showing her brain with lower activity in the front part, which is not good for her."
Fortunately, Dr Amen said it's not as frightening as it sounds, adding it can be fixed and improved.
"You can do it with medicine," he explained. "You can do it with supplements. You could put them in a hyperbaric chamber and see if that does it.

"There's neurofeedback that you can do. There are also some stimulating, like treatments, things like TMS."
His insight comes as Dr Amen told the reality TV star she had a 'beautiful' brain before breaking the news.
He also told her that she does not have a high risk for Alzheimer's disease, as her results show she's 'not terribly stressed, not anxious and not depressed'.
But he did add that she had 'holes' in the brain scan photo, pointing to 'low activity'.
He said: “The front part of your brain is less active than it should be. With your frontal lobes, as they work now, it would be harder to manage stress, and that's not good for you, especially as you're studying and you're getting ready to take the boards."
When asked by Dr Mike if he would have been able to 'guess' Kim's diagnosis without the brain scan, based on her issues with taking the bar, he said he would've been able to 'guess' but wouldn't know for sure.
"You can't see low blood flow just from talking to somebody," he said.
