Javon Walton pays tribute to Euphoria co-star Angus Cloud following his death

Walton played Ash, Cloud's adopted brother, on the hit HBO series and hopes the 25-year-old 'rests easy'.

Tributes have been pouring in following the news that Angus Cloud has died at the age of 25.

The Euphoria actor, who played Fezco on the hit HBO series, tragically passed away this week.

His family has released a statement confirming the news and they said: "It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today.

"As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.

"Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss.

"The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.

"Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence."

One of Cloud's co-stars from Euphoria has released a photo of them together and praised their 'forever family'.

Javon Walton played Ashtray O'Neill on the show, who was Fezco's unofficial adoptive brother.

He was gunned down in a huge cliffhanger at the end of season two while Cloud's character narrowly escapes being shot.

The 17-year-old posted another photo with the caption 'rest easy brother'.

Storm Reid, who plays Zendaya’s on-screen little sister, Gia Bennett, posted a scene from Euphoria and said 'the tears just won’t stop'.

Walton and Reid were joined by other celebrities who paid their respects to Cloud.

Drake, who serves as an executive producer on Euphoria, posted a photo of the actor and said he was a 'good soul'.

Questlove wrote on Instagram: “Fez was the spiritual center of Euphoria and definitely my fav character on the show. Love to his entire family and to those who knew him."

The official Twitter account for Euphoria added: "We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud.

"He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and ‘Euphoria’ family.

“We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”

Cloud's family hasn't revealed a cause of death for the 25-year-old.

However, they finished their statement to the public by saying: "We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone.

"We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss."
