Woman shot in mass shooting says Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS bodysuit saved her life

Woman shot in mass shooting says Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS bodysuit saved her life

Angelina Wiley was shot four times in the horrific incident and says she wouldn't have survived if she was wearing something else.

A woman who was shot four times claims Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS ‘saved her life’.

Well, what an endorsement for Kimmy K.

The SKIMS founder took to her Instagram to share a TikTok from Angelina Wiley, a 22-year-old Kansas City resident who survived a mass shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, earlier this year.

Kardashian captioned the post ‘wowww’ along with the praying hands emoji, as the young woman made the bold claim that if she hadn’t been wearing SKIMS the night of the attack, her injuries might have been fatal.

"Kim Kardashian saved my life," Wiley said in her video.

"This New Year's, I got shot four times. The night I got shot, under my dress, I was wearing a SKIMS shaping bodysuit."

Wiley said that the famous shape wear was so tight on her, it prevented her from losing a significant amount of blood.

“It was so tight on me that it literally kept me from bleeding out… Call it fate or Jesus, but Imma call it Kim,” she said.

Wiley continued: "I recommend it. I'm definitely gonna buy some more. I mean, I should wear it every day. It's like body armor for women."

According to The Los Angeles Times, Wiley was one of two people shot in Kansas City’s entertainment district at the end of last year.

A police report described Wiley’s injuries as ‘non-life threatening’; however, she suffered a ruptured bladder and a cracked pelvis.

In a follow-up video, Wiley also claimed the shape wear changed the path of the bullets, helping to protect ‘the important things’.

However, the Kansas City local said that she still has a bullet in her stomach that will remain there, as it would be a ‘higher risk to take it out than it would be to just leave it in’.

“I was so sad because that was the first day I got to wear [the shape wear],” she said in the clip.

“I bought it and it finally delivered to my house December 31. I was so excited to wear it ... I should’ve sized up, so keep in mind this motherf**ker was tight. I got shot at 1:40 and that motherf**ker got cut off.”

She added that SKIMS proceeded to give her a full refund on the piece and a discount for all future purchases.

I mean, that’s something else.
