A man who can’t stop buying other people’s saliva has revealed its impact on his finances as he battles with another fetish.
People can often have certain types of addictions that become unhealthy. For example, to food, alcohol, drugs, or anything that takes over your life or reason.
However, buying people’s spit online has got to be one that is hard to come by in the wild.
During the Other People's Lives YouTube show, hosts Joe Santagato and Greg Dybec were left reeling when one anonymous user called in to tell them about their habit, and how much it costs him per month.

The guy said it all stems from the ‘fantasy and fetish of being swallowed’, and that it stemmed from watching porn as a teenager. This then turned into an interest in men’s saliva, which he then began to procure from strangers on the internet.
Admitting that he sometimes drinks it, he said he’s been attempting to seek help.
Financially, it’s pretty expensive, but he said he can’t stop.

"It can run me a couple of hundred [dollars] a month," he admitted, and revealed he even took out bank loans to be able to afford it.
In some cases, it can cost $150 for a single bottle.
"They usually put it in a little vial," he told Joe and Greg. "Some people spend like maybe 25 or 35 for two. But there's some people that charge 50 to 100, I think the most I've paid is like 150."
He then went on to share how it led to him mismanaging his money, stating he’d ‘get bored waiting for somebody to answer me and then I'll message somebody else and then they all respond at once’.
From there, he’d accept each offer and also buys socks and underwear for his ‘thrill’ of splashing his cash.
When asked how he uses his spit, he said: "I either put a little on a mask or put a little bit on my face just to feel like what's happening in the story is what's actually happening.
"It gives me something to hone into and it makes reading a story a bit more interesting."
However, he wants to stop and explained that he has tried to steer himself away from this need.
"I'm actively trying to [stop], I've gone to a couple of hospitals to try and get help," he said.
"Where I am [though], there's not a lot of places to get help for that type of addiction."
However, after studying dependencies, and looking into methods for help, he has been ‘getting better, I've definitely noticed a changed'.
