Trump issues furious response after judge said he 'illegally deployed' National Guard for LA protests

Trump took to Truth Social to vent his rage

Donald Trump snapped after a judge ruled how he handled the LA situation by calling in the National Guard was illegal.

A federal judge has ordered control of the troops to return California Governor Gavin Newsom following the controversial move from Donald Trump.

Following protests and riots in Los Angeles over the conduct of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, Trump ordered the National Guard into the state.

The state in turn sued Trump over this order as it did not have Newsom’s consent.

Trump said he was sending the troops, who are typically under the governor's authority, to stop LA from ‘burning down’ and insisted this move was necessary.

US District Judge Charles Breyer said that the question that was presented by the state of California was whether Trump’s actions followed the law set by Congress on the deployment of a state's National Guard.

In his decision, Breyer wrote: “[Trump] did not.

"His actions were illegal... He must therefore return control of the California National Guard to the Governor of the State of California forthwith."

Following this ruling, Trump vented his frustrations on his social media platform, and firmly defended his actions.

He said: “The Biden Administration and Governor Newscum flooded America with 21 Million Illegal Aliens, destroying Schools, Hospitals and Communities, and consuming untold Billions of Dollars in Free Welfare.

“All of them have to go home, as do countless other Illegals and Criminals, who will turn us into a bankrupt Third World Nation. America was invaded and occupied. I am reversing the Invasion. It’s called Remigration. Our courageous ICE Officers, who are daily being subjected to doxxing and murder threats, are HEROES.

“We will always have their back as they carry out this noble mission. America will be for Americans again!”

In a follow-up message, Trump argued that LA would be burning to the ground if it wasn’t for his intervention.

In a post less than half an hour later, he said: “Incompetent Gavin Newscum should have been THANKING me for the job we did in Los Angeles, rather than making sad excuses for the poor job he has done. If it weren’t for me getting the National Guard into Los Angeles, it would be burning to the ground right now!”
