A White House holiday memo has knocked everyone a little bit sick after calling the president 'daddy'.
Of all the many names you might associate with Donald Trump, 'daddy' probably isn't one of them.
Yet, in a new festive notice posted on Wednesday (December 3), that's exactly the wording the government has bizarrely gone for.
The cartoon depicts Trump donning a red Santa hat, his signature Republican red tie and a thumbs up, to the backdrop of a very white-looking White House indeed - what with all the glistening snow.

Then, in garish red lettering over the top of what could've been a very normal presidential Christmas greeting, reads: "Daddy's home," in capitals, of course, Trump's favorite.
The White House's official Instagram account then captioned the image: "HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!"
If you didn't know, 'daddy' can sometimes be used in a sexual context and/or BDSM practices where the dominant partner role-plays as a paternal figure for the submissive partner.

According to a Real Life Topics Revealed piece in Medium, research suggests some men like to be called the term as he feels he has a 'position of power and control', so go figure that Trump is clearly a fan.
Unsurprisingly, the White House post has struck a chord with dozens, as one said it stands as the 'creepiest message ever'.
While sick face emojis dominated the comments, others said it was 'so cringe' and even more were left shocked that the official government account even posted it in the first place.
"This is hysterical and stupid", said another.

"They actually posted this lmfao," another comment read.

The controversial release comes as Trump's right-hand man, Pete Hegseth, Secretary of War, has been called out by a children's publisher for posting an arguably even worse festive message.
Posting on X, formerly Twitter, Hegseth used an AI-generated image of an infamous children's character, Franklin the turtle from the Canadian TV series, Franklin, in military gear while gunning down 'narco terrorists' in boats.

Hegseth captioned the imaged front cover of a story book, 'For your Christmas wish list...'
"We're not a serious country anymore," penned one in the comments, while many others did similar remakes of popular children's books, from 'Franklin Goes to Jail' to 'Frog and Toad Arrest Pete Hegseth for War Crimes'.
Publisher, Kids Can Press, also slammed the minister, condemning the use of Franklin's image in a 'violent' way.

In a statement on Instagram, the publisher said: "Franklin the Turtle is a beloved Canadian icon who has inspired generations of children and stands for kindness, empathy, and inclusivity.

"We strongly condemn any denigrating, violent, or unauthorized use of Franklin’s name or image, which directly contradicts these values."
Meanwhile, First Lady Melania Trump unveiled her festive decor for the president's HQ, declaring 'home is where the heart is' as the theme, featuring more than 50 Christmas trees, designer decorations and a Lego portrait of Trump and other US presidents.
