President Donald Trump's followers have been left confused after he shared a social media post from a fake Karoline Leavitt account last week.
According to The Independent, Trump shared content from the parody account, as stated in its bio, on Christmas Day, during which he shared his thoughts on several topics, including the Democrats, Epstein, and immigration.
One post from Trump read: “Merry Christmas to all, including the many Sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein...only to ‘drop him like a dog’ when things got too HOT, falsely claimed they had nothing to do with him, didn’t know him, said he was a disgusting person, and then blame, of course, President Donald J. Trump, who was actually the only one who did drop Epstein, and long before it became fashionable to do so."

It continued: "When their names get brought out in the ongoing Radical Left Witch Hunt (plus one lowlife 'Republican,' [Thomas] Massie!), and it is revealed that they are Democrats all, there will be a lot of explaining to do, much like there was when it was made public that the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax was a fictitious story - a total Scam - and had nothing to do with 'TRUMP.'"
Massie (who represents Kentucky's 4th congressional district) is one of the lawmakers who pushed for the release of the Epstein files.
In the same breath, Trump berated the 'failing' New York Times, which was supposedly forced to 'apologize for their bad and faulty Election “Reporting,” even to the point of losing many subscribers due to their highly inaccurate (FAKE!) coverage'.
In a separate post, Trump shared a post from the fake Leavitt account, regarding the deportation of Somalis from the US.

On Christmas Eve, the President shared another screenshot from the account, which called for former Associate Attorney General Rudy Giuliani to be reinstated, according to Meidas Touch.
The account explains in its bio that it is 'a parody account reporting White House news daily' but says it has 'no affiliation with @PressSec or @karolineleavitt'.
Meidas Touch reports that the account is based in Taiwan and once wrote a post asking followers 'what [they] think of my backside' alongside a video of Leavitt as she walked up the stairs of an airplane.
Meanwhile, other posts included ones with racist and extremist language. It's important to note that Trump did not share these particular posts.

The fake account has been labelled by X as a 'parody account' which according to Meidas Touch, was added after it had impersonated Leavitt.
In the past, Trump has shared numerous AI videos to his social media page, including an AI version of himself promoting a 'new form' of healthcare, dropping brown liquid on a group of protesters, and him playing a song by Journey on an American flag covered piano.
And on Christmas Eve, the White House posted an AI video featuring Trump reading through a 'Naughty List' of those who'd been deported from the country.
UNILAD has reached out to The White House for comment.
