Donald Trump shared and then deleted an AI video on his Truth Social account that fuelled a wild conspiracy theory online over the weekend.

Anyone that follows the POTUS on Truth Social will know how often he posts on the social media platform, with some of his updates being more outlandish than others.

Trump often uses the platform to discuss meetings he's had with other world leaders, and you'll sometimes find a bizarre video or two on there as well.

And while being busy running the country, the president found time to share an AI-generated video of himself seemingly promoting a 'new form' of healthcare in the US, which is actually not a thing.

The clip - a fake Fox News report that saw a fake an AI-generated Trump say every American would have 'their own medbed card' - was deleted around 12 hours after it was posted, according to The Daily Beast.

"Every American will soon receive their own medbed card," an AI-generated version of the president said in the video. "With it, you’ll have guaranteed access to our new hospitals led by the top doctors in the nation, equipped with the most advanced technology in the world."

The fake Trump added: "These facilities are safe, modern and designed to restore every citizen to full health and strength."

CNN's Jake Tapper spoke about the clip on Instagram and described what exactly 'medbeds' are.

"Medbeds are a conspiracy theory popular with QAnon people, in which there exists these magic beds, which restore limbs and reverse aging and cure anything that befalls the human body, but they're only available to the rich and the elite," the reporter said on CNN's social channels.

For those in any doubt that the video might not have been AI-generated, Fox News confirmed to The Verge that the news report 'never aired on Fox News Channel or any other Fox News Media platforms'.

UNILAD has contacted the White House for comment.

In other Trump news, the president confirmed an 100 percent tariff had been placed on 'any and all' movies made outside of the United States.

On Monday (September 29), Trump penned on Truth Social: "Our movie making business has been stolen from the United States of America, by other Countries, just like stealing 'candy from a baby.'"

He then issued a scathing blow to Hollywood and the so-called Golden State, adding: "California, with its weak and incompetent Governor, has been particularly hard hit! Therefore, in order to solve this long time, never ending problem, I will be imposing a 100% Tariff on any and all movies that are made outside of the United States."
