A doctor who claims to have died and come back to life has spoken out about his experience and how things are different for him now.
Near-death experiences aren’t anything new; people have been having them...well, since we realized as a species that we could die.
But with that being said, some people have come closer than others and are sure they have come close to passing through to the ‘other side’.
People’s experiences vary significantly, and a chief anesthesiologist from Bakersfield Heart Hospital, California, says he remembers a great deal of his experience of going to hell and meeting God.

Dr Rajiv Parti’s heart stopped due to complications during a prostate cancer procedure in 2008 when he was 51.

Speaking on his YouTube channel about his experience, he said: “I heard screams of pain and anguish. I was drawn in, as if on a moving pavement, to the edge of a flaming canyon. Smoke filled my nostrils, and with it the sickening odor of burning flesh. I knew then that I was on the lip of hell."
He also claims that a voice condemned him for his ‘materialistic’ lifestyle.

In a follow-up interview, Parti - who considered himself a Hindu - also admitted to being confused when he was taken through a tunnel by two biblical angels, Michael and Raphael.
This was before he met God and watched a replay of his life that showed all of his good and bad deeds and the impact they had on people.
A video on YouTuber Nicholas John's channel also saw author John Burke speak about the power of Parti's experience,
Burke said: “Rajiv is a Hindu and yet, the same God of light, same life review, and at another point, he later asks this God of light, 'Who are you Lord?'

"Out of the light steps a man in a robe with a gold sash and a beard, and he says to him, 'I'm Jesus, your savior."

After waking up alive and well, Parti has stated that his life has not been the same, as he has decided to leave his position as chief anesthesiologist and make a massive career switch.
Speaking about the decision to quit his job in a video on his YouTube page, he wrote: “My colleagues, when I told them I wanted to resign... were shocked.

“But the best way I could explain it is that I would need to follow my purpose, my soul contract. They were shocked but I didn’t care.
“I had felt the power, the source, my own heart calling me the divine being, the divine light being and the instructions were very vivid in my mind.
“That I need to follow my dharma, to help people with the diseases of the soul and help them transform to find the purpose of life which is peace, love and joy.”
