Some Lorde fans are convinced the singer has offered up way more of herself than they'd bargained for with her latest album, as images from the vinyl version have revealed a close-up of a female crotch.
It's common for singers to share their souls in their music, but this takes 'baring all' to another level.
Titled Virgin, the album is set to be released tomorrow (June 27) and has been a long time coming for fans of Lorde after she dropped her last album, Solar Power, in 2022.

The singer has been raising the hype for its release with a series of posts and clips shared on Instagram, and after she played the album in full for the first time this week she described it as 'one of the best nights of [her] life'.

Needless to say, all the build up has left Lorde fans excited, but many have been left blindsided after spotting one of the pictures released in the packaging for the vinyl, which some fans have already got a hold of.
The image in question is an undeniable shot of a vagina taken through clear plastic trousers. It's not an illusion or a trick of the light, there's simply a vagina included in the album.

The owner of the now-famous crotch is unclear, but fans have joined up the dots and assumed it belongs to Lorde herself.
As a result, some have branded the genitals in question as the 'Lordeussy'.
Fans have been left shocked by the brazen move, with one writing: "Just got the virgin vinyl, I opened it and first thing I saw was Lorde’s hairy ***** hun I wasn’t ready for that jumpscare lmaooo."
"Why is Lorde’s beaver all over my timeline," another Twitter user questioned.

The revelation of the picture has also left fans concerned to get their hands on the album, with one writing: "My Lorde vinyl is getting delivered to my parent’s house I’m scared."
However, others have defended the star and the decision to include the bold photo.
One fan commented: "A lot of you are being very weird about the lorde vinyl cover… who tf cares if her lordeussy was out. it’s just a body."
“I’m sorry but Lorde putting her cooch on vinyl is iconic asf,” added another.

Though some fans were taken aback by the sight, Lorde's website does include a warning on the listing for the vinyl, which reads: “12” X-ray picture disc vinyl, high gloss gatefold cover, 8 page full colour booklet, metallic silver printed inner sleeve. Parental advisory: adult images.”
Whatever your thoughts on the image, it's safe to say Lorde's got people talking!
