Josh Hutcherson reveals great-grandmother’s shocking response after he filmed NSFW orgy scene in front of her

Josh Hutcherson's great-grandma had an unexpected reaction to seeing him film an orgy scene for one of his shows.

Filming these kind of NSFW scenes will just be another day at office to the actors like Hutcherson, however, I can imagine it might slightly throw you off your game if your great-grandmother is on the set while it's happening...

This is exactly what happened to The Hunger Games favorite when his elderly relative came to visit him while he was shooting his TV series Future Man (which boasts an impressive 91 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, FYI).

Hutcherson plays Josh Futturman, with Eliza Coupe (Scrubs, Happy Endings) and Derek Wilson (The Boys, Birds of Prey) also starring.

The actor is now starring in a new series called I Love LA, which also features sex scenes.

Speaking at the premiere, Hutcherson revealed that he's not too worried about his family seeing his racy scenes in the new show as it's nothing they haven't seen before.

He recalled to Variety: "I’ve seen some questionable things over the years that my great-grandma has even seen. My great-grandma was on set the day on Future Man that we were shooting an orgy."

"I didn’t realize the day she was coming also lined up with the orgy shoot," Hutcherson insisted. "She was coming no matter what. She was going to be there. She’s a very supportive great-grandma."

He went on to explain that he whole thing was 'comedic' and shared his great-grandma's funny reaction to it all.

The 33-year-old said: "I was fully, well, not fully clothed. Grandma was like, 'You know, it’s fiction. Very interesting, your job, Joshua.'"

Future Man went on for three seasons, with its final episodes airing in 2020. It had been available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu but following a series of cuts it was taken down from the streaming platforms in 2023, reported ScreenRant at the time.

But fear not folks, if you want to see the scene Hutcherson was talking about so you can truly understand how awkward it will have been for his great-grandma to see, all three seasons are now available to watch on Prime Video.

Surprisingly, some critics branded the second season better than the first.

On reviewer said: "Very rarely is a second season better than the first, but Future Man season 2 is pretty close to being just as good as season 1. A must watch!"

Another fan added: "One of the greatest comedy sci-fi series of all times."
