Billy Bob Thornton has caused a bit of a stir with the opening of the hit show Landman in the latest episode, with fans seeing a bit more of him than they bargained for.
Thornton’s character from the hit TV show Tommy Norris kicked off the episode, which hit Paramount+ on December 28, with a full-frontal scene, and it's left fans divided.
Norris is seen waking up in a hotel room while a hotel worker is unloading his breakfast.
Tommy then farts and rolls over and in this brief moment, viewers can catch a glimpse of him naked.

In doing so, 70-year-old Thornton’s character ultimately flashes his erect penis at the unsuspecting woman, who promptly screams and begs him not to rape her.
Seconds later Ali Larter’s character Angela enters the room from the bathroom and scolds Tommy and tells him to ‘put his d*** away’.
She then addresses the hotel employee saying: “Don’t be scared, darling. That wasn’t about you.
"He eats Cialis [a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction] like M&Ms and runs into door jams all morning with that thing. I’m so sorry about that.”
Turning to Tommy, she continued: “I was trying to surprise you with breakfast in bed… That is not the best angle of your ball sack, I might add.
"You really have to love a man to look at him from there. Poor thing. If she wasn’t a lesbian when she walked in here, she’s a f**king lesbian now.”
Tommy and Angela then proceed to have a swearing match with each other before the scene ends.
It is not clear whether prosthetics or digital trickery was used to show the penis or whether that really was Thornton standing to attention, but chances are on the former.
While the opening may have proven hilarious for some, other fans took to social media to complain about the latest episode.
One user wrote on X: “Anybody else think #landman has gone off track. It was about oil and now it's about relationships. Bore fest.”
Another agreed and wrote: “This. Also, I don’t understand why the producer felt the need to show Thornton’s member. Like you can’t insinuate without showing it?
"Cmonnn. I’m sure guys don’t wanna see that either…”
With a third simply adding: “Eewww...."
