Stranger Things Fans Have Noticed Suzie's House Had Serious Clues About Part 2

An impressive theory suggests the home offered a lot of foreshadowing

An impressive Stranger Things fan theory suggests the scenes filmed inside Suzie's house gave clues to viewers about what would happen in the final episodes of series four.

Viewers were taken all over the place in the most recent series of the Netflix show, with Eleven and Will having relocated to Southern California, Hopper stuck in Russia, an underground team of scientists working in the Nevada desert and Vecna wreaking havoc back in Hawkins, Indiana.

Another location we were taken to during the fourth series of Stranger Things was the home of Suzie, where Mike, Will, Jonathan and Argyle tracked down Dustin's girlfriend for help in locating Eleven.

Viewers will remember that the house was absolute chaos with kids running all over the place, but a theory shared on Reddit suggests there was meaning behind the madness, explaining: "Suzie's family might be foreshadowing..."

In the post, the Reddit user explained that they began to form their theory after noticing one of Suzie's sisters pretending to choke and convulse on the floor, screaming "I've been bitten!" Later in the episode, a very similar scene takes place as Steve gets attacked by Vecna's bats.

From there, the theory 'loosely' links Suzie's dad to Vecna, explaining: "Sounds weird, but they are both residing in the upper levels of their houses (Vecna's in the attic, the dad is in his office). They are both working on projects (Vecna opening more gates, the dad typing up a document). Both of them make a point of going down the stairs (Vecna descending menacingly to kill Chrissy, the dad rushing down to fix the lights)."

Suzie's home appears to foreshadow a number of events.

The similarities don't stop there, as the Redditor points out the young boy who kept messing with the lights in Suzie's home; an action which could reflect Vecna being located in the normal world through lights.

There were also the two siblings who were seen play-fighting with swords, who could be argued to represent Dustin and Eddie as they fought off Vecna's bats. The siblings blocked the dad as he was going down the stairs, in a similar way to how Dustin and Eddie causing a distraction and blocking the bats from attacking Nancy, Steve and Robin.

Meanwhile in the kitchen of Suzie's home, we had two siblings who were cooking something when one accused the other of using 'too much salt'. An excessive amount of salt soon came back into play, when Eleven used it for her makeshift sensory deprivation tank in the pizza restaurant.

The theory relates to the actions of Dustin, Eddie, Eleven and Max.

The viewer also noticed a portrait of Da Vinci's 'The Last Supper' in Suzie's home - a picture which appeared to be recreated as Hopper and the other prisoners were seen enjoying a feast before being sent to fight the Demogorgon.

After sharing this theory online and seeing it play out in the final episodes, the Reddit user shared another post about a detail which might provide some clues to series five. As the dad in Suzie's home made his way down the stairs, he passed a poster which read: "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray Thee, Lord, my soul to keep, If I should die before I wake, I pray Thee, Lord, my soul to take, If I should live for other days, I pray Thee, Lord, to guide my ways."

The Redditor suggests this prayer was a reference to Max ending up in a coma, having 'died' before she was 'awoken' by Eleven. If she should have 'lived for other days', then the Redditor suggests 'Lord' Vecna would 'guide her ways' by taking over her body.

We'll have to wait and see for that one, but given the strength of the theory so far, it's certainly something to keep in mind.
