While much of the world celebrated Christmas on Thursday (December 25), there was one thing on the mind of millions as they tucked into their Christmas Dinner; that being the next instalment of Stranger Things' final series.
Three episodes of the much-loved sci-fi show dropped on Netflix as Christmas Day came to an end in the US, ahead of the finale on New Year's Eve.
Prior to the release of Volume 2, the show's creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, dropped a massive clue and potential spoiler for the finale as the typically tight-lipped brothers discussed fan theories.

Following the release of Volume 2, Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, spoke to People Magazine about what were a pivotal few episodes for the actor's character.
Once more, the following quotes contain story spoilers for Stranger Things season 5, Volume 2.
The 21-year-old said he 'cried reading' the script for the latest batch of Stranger Things episodes that dropped on Christmas Day.
Will confesses to his family and friends that he's gay, an emotional scene that had viewers with the tissues at the ready.
Speaking to People about filming the scene, Schnapp said: "I was nervous. I was like, 'How are they going to write that?' But I read it, and I just cried reading it, and I was like, 'This is perfect. They did it.' There's no notes."
"They told me they went to some queer family and friends to help understand how to do it right," the actor then said of the Duffer brothers.
One particular scene the actor was concerned about when he got the script was when Will's family and friends comforted and hugged him after he came out.

Schnapp added: "I would say I was a little nervous about everyone individually standing up, and I was like, 'Is that going to be weird?' But then, in the moment, everything just [felt] so real, and it felt so just natural, and it worked."
The Stranger Things star went on to say he was pleased Will's coming out moment 'wasn't just a sob fest' - and instead a special moment for Schnapp and his character.
"He was happy through the beginning of it, kind of reliving those memories. And it makes it hit harder, almost," the actor added.
Stranger Things season five Volumes 1 and 2 are available to stream on Netflix now.
