Sarah Paulson has given her thoughts on Kim Kardashian being taken as a 'serious' actor in 2024.

While Kardashian is certainly best known for being a reality TV star and model, she has turned her hand to acting in recent years.

The SKIMS founder's next role is set to come in All's Fair, a Hulu drama series created by industry icon Ryan Murphy.

The legal story follows a divorced lawyer (played by Kardashian) heading a female-only law firm in sunny Los Angeles.

Over recent months and years, many have slammed Kardashian for taking the plunge into acting.

One person who is not doubting the 43-year-old is Sarah Paulson, who is also featuring in All's Fair.

The actor is currently conducting the media rounds promoting her new thriller Hold Your Breath, which released last month.

And in conversation with Yahoo Entertainment, Paulson touched on Kardashian's role in the film industry.

"I think it is absolutely time for people to take Kim Kardashian seriously as an actress. She was absolutely excellent in American Horror Story: Delicate," she told the outlet.

"I think the show we're about to do together is going to be a tremendous amount of fun and she's going to be glorious on it. I have absolutely no doubt about that. Zero."

The instalment of the AHS series, based on the book Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine, saw Kardashian taking on the role of Siobhan, a high-flying publicist representing Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts) in-between delivering stern phone calls to industry professionals over the phone.

Fans were impressed by the model's acting, with one person writing on social media: "She’s nailing the level of deadpan camp that AHS works well on. Not bad."

While another wrote: "Her delivery is good, the character is very close to herself so far. I wonder where her character will go down the line."

As for Paulson, she's going back into the realms of horror with Hold Your Breath.

The actor has preciously admitted to not watching horror films as she's too scared.

She told Yahoo Entertainment: "Listen, the irony is not lost on me. I watched way too many scary films as a child. My father was a 22-year-old dad who was wanting to watch the movies he wanted to watch, and I was like seven or eight years old.

"He was watching The Exorcist. He was watching The Shining. And then that meant that I was watching it as well, and it was just — it's just not for me. I just get really, really scared."
