Jennifer Coolidge’s role as Stifler’s mom was probably her most iconic role aside from her ‘bend and snap’ Legally Blonde days, however, her personal life is just as exciting.
Let’s take it all the way back to 1999, dungarees were in, Stacy’s mom had got it going on, and teen movies were popular like never before.
Such as the American Pie franchise.
Starring the likes of Eugene Levy, Jason Biggs, Seann William, Alyson Hannigan, Natasha Lyonne, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Coolidge, and so many more – the movies were a hit with an entire generation.

It was so popular, in fact, that Coolidge’s character (known only as Stifler’s mom), will always be known for her cougar role, which saw her hooking up with Thomas, who played the nerdy teen in the group of horny guys, Finch.
The pair engaged in a lengthy rendezvous in the films, where Finch was enamored by the older woman.
But in real life, it wasn’t meant to be – despite the pair living together for a year in Los Angeles.
She told GQ in a 2023 interview, where she revealed that she had been shunned from Hollywood parties for at least a decade prior to landing her award-winning role in The White Lotus, that they were nothing more than platonic housemates.
She claimed that Thomas 'had girlfriends' who he'd bring to their home, with her bedroom situated ‘across the hallway from his'.
“I wasn’t the love of his life,” she joked, adding: “He had girlfriends. My bedroom was across the hallway from his.”
But that doesn’t mean she wasn’t getting any of her own action.
Coolidge once admitted to sleeping with around 200 people because of her American Pie character but went on to say that 'that was sort of an exaggeration' and it wasn’t as many people as that.
She said: "It helped my dating life in a way that I can't ever explain.
"If I hadn't had that movie, I don't think… Well, let's just say it would've been a very dull decade."
Not only did Stifler’s mom help her in the sack, but so did her The White Lotus character.
Speaking with the Sunday Times, she revealed: “Even though I play a complete weirdo in White Lotus, cute guys come up to me.”
Speaking to Ariana Grande in an Entertainment Weekly interview in 2022, she further explained its impact, explaining: “It helped my dating life in a way that I can’t ever explain.
“If I hadn’t had that movie, I don’t think … Well, let’s just say it would’ve been a very dull decade.”
Coolidge said: “This is far better than ‘American Pie’ because people were really sad about Tanya falling off a boat.
“These men like you better because they feel that you went through something. That show really upped my game!”
