32 years on from Home Alone 2's debut and it's unlikely you'd recognize Brenda Fricker.

Fricker starred at the infamous 'Pigeon Lady' in the 1992 Christmas classic - a homeless woman in New York who befriended pigeons and ended up helping Kevin McCallister (Macauley Culkin) defeat the Wet Bandits.

While Fricker is best known for starring in Home Alone 2, the Irish actress has also starred in British TV shows like Casualty, Holding, and The Catch.

Over the years, Fricker has also had supporting roles in movies such as A Time to Kill, So I Married an Axe Murderer, and 2007's How About You and even earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in My Left Foot

Those who are fans of Home Alone 2 will know that Fricker's character has quite a scruffy appearance - which is a far cry from how the now 79-year-old star looks.

Back in 2021, Fricker featured on the Irish TV show The Tommy Tiernan Show, where she lifted the lid on her quiet life away form the spotlight.

"I live a very quiet life well under the radar and I drive a tiny car, own a cottage, that's about it," the actress revealed at the time.

"Talking to the wall quite a bit, talking to the dog, writing poetry, reading books, watching television. Nothing different than anybody else does, except being alone so much can make you talk to the wall a bit more than most people."

Fricker went on to describe herself as 'recluse' as she shared some candid admissions about her mental health.

She said, as per Mirror Online: "Just yesterday, I visited the doctor who said, 'We're going to put you on stronger antidepressants'. I'm somewhat of a recluse.

"Choosing to stay indoors is one thing, but being told to do so makes me want to go outside."

Something Fricker didn't address as the time his her uncanny resemblance to journalist and TV host Piers Morgan - something he frequently has to address over the holiday period and deny that it's him in Home Alone 2.

Over the years, Home Alone fans have taken to Twitter to ask if Pigeon Lady is Morgan or not, forcing the broadcaster to address the matter for himself.

One person previously wrote online: "Not sure how many acting credits he has but this is @piersmorgan’s finest work."

Replying to this, Morgan insisted: "It's. Not. Me."

And, of course, people have taken to social media to share similar sentiments this year too.

Someone said in recent days: "It's mad when you think now Donald Trump and Piers Morgan are both in Home Alone 2."

"I will never be able to unsee Piers Morgan in Home Alone 2 as the pigeon lady.. it’s too convincing," added another.

While it's not actually Morgan, surely he's somehow related to Fricker...
