First responders have confirmed that they attended Angus Cloud’s house before midday on Monday (31 July).

The actor who played Fezco in the HBO drama Euphoria, which also stars Zendaya and Jacob Elordi, died at his home in Oakland this week at the age of just 25.

A statement from Oakland Fire Department confirmed that they had been to the property before midday on the day of his death, with a spokesperson saying that they were ‘dispatched to a location associated with the actor at 11:30am’.

Speaking to NBC News, the spokesperson added: “Upon arrival of Fire EMS personnel, the patient was determined to be already deceased.”

In a statement confirming Cloud’s death, his family wrote: “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today.

“As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.

“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss.

“The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”

The statement continued: “Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.

“We hope the world remembers him for his humour, laughter and love for everyone.

“We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”

Tributes have been pouring in for the late star.

Tributes to the late star have been pouring in since the news of his tragic death.

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson said: “There was no one quite like Angus.

“He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon.

“He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression.”

Levinson added: “I hope he knew how many hearts he touched.

“I loved him. I always will.

“Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”

Cloud’s co-stars have also paid tribute, with season one star Lukas Gage writing: “RIP @anguscloud.”

He also commented ‘rest easy Angus’ on his most recent post.

Storm Reid, who plays Gia Bennett in the show, shared a picture of the actor on her Instagram Story, writing: “The tears just won’t stop.”

There was also a tribute from Javon Walton, who plays Cloud’s on-screen brother Ashtray, and Paula Marshall, who plays Marsha Jacobs.

Marshall said: “He was kind and gracious and so unique.

“You couldn’t take your eyes off him, on film or on set.

“How lucky we all were to have witnessed his work.

“It was beyond truthful, every damn take. My heart hurts.”
