Netflix viewers can hardly wait for the next season of a drama which boasts an 'unbelievable' plot twist and a perfect rating.
It's few and far between these days that you stumble across a binge-worthy TV series that remains just as captivating from the first season to the last.
But this legal drama, based on Michael Connelly's 2008 novel The Brass Verdict, has fans obsessed since it first hit the streaming platform in May 2022, and rocketed to the top of Netflix's top 10.

The plot follows the story of criminal defense lawyer, Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who works in the back of his Lincoln Navigator SUV as he takes on cases across Los Angeles.
In case you've heard the story before, you probably have as we are of course talking about The Lincoln Lawyer, first brought to life in the 2011 movie starring Matthew McConaughey.
However, critics say the series is just as good even without the iconic Hollywood veteran, claiming it has a 'dense, compelling story' that is jam-packed with the authors 'characteristic revelations and cliffhangers' - with some 'night light comic touches' to boot.
The third season even landed it a perfect 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, which is rare to come by.

Now, viewers say they can't wait for the fourth season to bless their screens after it was confirmed in January 2025. It will follow Connelly's sixth book, The Law of Innocence.
Taking to Reddit, one viewer said the series is 'sooooooo underrated!!!!!!!' and can't believe people don't talk about it more.
"Idk why people don't talk about this show its soo good," they wrote. "Like each season has its own crazy story and plot line like I can't believe the plot twist this show has. I want more people to talk about this show and I cant wait for S4 its such a long wait."

A second said it took them some time to 'warm up' to the new lawyer, since McConaughey 'absolutely blew it out of the park' in the OG film, however, they added: "But once I got over that, MAN. Love every minute."
A third chimed: "I love it. I download it too and listen to it in the car. I never tire of the jokes, personalities, plots. I never tire of it!"
Meanwhile others agreed that they loved Connelly's books just as much.
"Both the Lincoln Lawyer and Bosch are based on a series of books by Michael Connelly that are very readable, and the execution of both series really captures the book characters and are overall very well executed, though they do take liberties with the plots," one fan said. "So I definitely recommend the books as well."

Someone else agreed: "I just finished the first Renee Ballard (Michael Connelly) book; The Late Show. WOW. What a great story. I would love to see this made into a mini-series."
