Netflix fans are raving over a true crime series which has been viewed for 32 million hours.

The platform has been praised for its binge-worthy miniseries over the years, including this 'wild' Harlan Coben one that's been branded '10/10' by Rotten Tomatoes critics.

If you've already blazed your way through that - and this overlooked Danish series with perfect ratings - then we've got your next watch covered.

Having released on February 6, this new crime drama is currently the fourth most-watched TV show on US Netflix, behind Love is Blind, Cobra Kai, and Surviving Black Hawk Down.

In less than two weeks, it's racked up almost 32 million hours viewed, as per data from FlixPatrol, with fans praising its 'many' twists and turns.

The Nordic noir series follows detective Hanna Ahlander (Carla Sehn) who has been suspended from duty.

Set in the stunning ski resort of Åre, Sweden, Hanna has plans to rewind and vacation - yet she can't seem to catch a break.

When a teenage girl goes missing, she's launched back into her day job as she teams up with local detective Daniel Lindskog (Kardo Razzazi) to work out what exactly is going on.

They soon discover that hidden behind Åre's breathtaking vistas are some rather horrific and unlikely secrets.

Intrigued? Well, the series is called The Åre Murders, and you can watch its trailer below:

Fans who've already binged the five-parter were quick to share their thoughts on social media.

Posting to X, one person said: "Totally enjoyed The Are Murders on Netflix. More of these, please," as a second agreed: "I’m upset it only has five episodes."

A third commented: "The series is very bingeable, so do not miss out on this one."

Taking to Rotten Tomatoes - where fans rated it an 82 percent while critics awarded the show 83 percent - one fan wrote: "High quality series. Lead actress was great! Many, many twists. Awesome scenery."

A second agreed: "Interesting plots that kept me guessing! Beautiful scenery! Here's hoping for a second season!"

The TV series is based on a book series of the same name by author Viveca Sten.

There are five novels in the series, which suggests there's plenty more content for a much-wanted second season - and beyond!

However, Netflix is yet to confirm if another instalment is on the cards.

I suppose it's still early days for the series yet, so fans will have to keep waiting for now.

The Are Murders is available to stream now on Netflix.
