Netflix fans say they're addicted to a '10/10' miniseries they're watching in two days - and it's one you might have overlooked.

Perhaps you've already blazed your way through 'masterpiece' Dark which boasts a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score. And if you're looking for your next binge, we've got you covered.

Netflix is known for its stellar catalogue of crime thrillers, but with this one releasing in 2021, it might've slipped under your radar.

As it happens, Rotten Tomatoes critics have rated it a perfect 100 percent - so it's not one to be missed.

Set in Copenhagen, it follows the brutal murder of a young woman found in mysterious circumstances.

One windy morning, police discover her body in a playground - which is creepy enough as it is.

But even worse, one of her hands is missing. And hanging above her? A small man made of chestnuts.

Who could possibly connect the dots?

Well, ambitious young detective Naia Thulin is assigned to the case, along with her new partner, Mark Hess.

As they probe further, they discover the evidence - particularly the chestnut figure - is linked to the daughter of a politician who went missing the previous year.

The series in question is called The Chestnut Man. You can watch the trailer below:

Taking to the Netflix Bangers Facebook Group, one person was keen to offer up their verdict on the series.

"The Chestnut Man - loved watching it. Finished in two days...!" they wrote. "For people who love crime thrillers, recommended."

A second agreed: "10/10 definitely one of my favorite thrillers," before admitting: "I watched it in November and I still think from time to time about how great this thriller was."

Another wrote: "Nordic writers NEVER disappoint. This was a great binge."

Rotten Tomatoes critics are in agreement, having rated it a full 100 percent.

One critic praised: "The Chestnut Man Season 1 was surprisingly chilling, and yet it was such a delightfully dark binge I couldn’t help but love it."

A second agreed: "The Chestnut Man is a great reminder that the Scandinavians still do this stuff better than anyone. It raises the bar." They cheekily added: "See it before there's an American remake."

And it's good news for fans of the show - last March, Netflix confirmed the show would return for a sequel series.

What's On Netflix reported actors Danica Curcic and Mikkel Boe Følsgaard would be back for the follow-up.

The Chestnut Man is available to stream now on Netflix.
