Netflix users are urging people to watch an 'underrated' series that already has two seasons available to binge.

There's nothing quite like the feeling of discovering a new favorite TV show, especially when it already has multiple 45-minute episodes to sink your teeth in to.

It's exactly the news we need as we head towards another January weekend, when curling up in front of the TV is the most appealing plan, and luckily Netflix users have come through with a good recommendation.

Numerous fans on Reddit and X are praising Mortel; a 'suspenseful' series that first dropped in 2021.

Starring Carl Malapa, Némo Schiffman and Manon Bresch, the series follows two high school students who make a deal with a supernatural figure which lands them with special powers.

Using their new skills, the students team up to try and solve a murder.

Following a successful first season, Mortel, which is a French series, returned in 2021 with six new episodes to continue the story, and viewers are now keen for a third season.

Fans have praised the supernatural series.

Fans have taken to social media to share their praise for the series, with one X user writing: "Mortel on Netflix is so good pls watch it before they take it away."

Another insisted the show needed more attention, writing: "No but Netflix needs to give Mortel the same promotion they give to Elite. Everything about season two was so amazing, the plot, the characters arc (individually & together) was perfect, soundtrack was fire and the visuals was pleasing...yall slacking."

A third wrote: "if you're looking for a supernatural voodoo murder mystery esc teen show watch Mortel on Netflix! it's a french show, s2 just dropped and it's pretty f**king good also the cast is beautiful."

Before you launch into a bingeing session of Mortel, I should warn you that there's currently no information about a potential third season, meaning you might have to prepare for some unanswered questions.

Netflix users are now calling for a third series.

Fans remain hopeful the series will return, though, with one Reddit user writing: "The storyline is great and the actors have so much chemistry that it’s hard to not want to continue watching."

Another Reddit user agreed, writing: "Mortel is soooo underrated. I've periodically been scouring the web for info on a potential s3 (including searching in French) but not much comes up. the characters work so well together and I’d hate it if we didn’t get a least one more season to wrap it up."

With 12 episodes and a whole weekend ahead of you, what are you waiting for?
