Netflix subscribers are binge-watching a 'riveting' British crime drama in just one day.

The streaming service is renowned for its crime series, from this '10/10' drama lead by a Mindhunter star to a new release hailed 'one of the best'. And if you think you've seen them all - well, think again.

Netflix is home to some 7,000 titles, so there are bound to be some that have slipped under your radar.

This particular drama has been streamed for some 38.9 million hours, as per figures from FlixPatrol.

Some viewers admit they devoured all six episodes in just one day - it was just that gripping.

The mystery-thriller TV series stars Wednesday's Emma Myers as Pippa Fitz-Amobi, a clever - although slightly obsessive - teen who reopens a five-year-old murder-suicide case for a school project.

Andie Bell (India Lillie Davies), a popular schoolgirl, vanished after an evening with her boyfriend Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni), with police believing she had been murdered by Sal, who went on to kill himself afterwards.

But, believing the police got it wrong, Pip digs deeper, uncovering dark secrets in her hometown of Little Kilton - and finding herself in real danger as she skates closer to the truth.

The series in question is A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, adapted from Holly Jackson’s 2019 novel of the same name.

It first released on the BBC in the UK last July, before joining Netflix for its worldwide premiere in August.

Better yet, the series was renewed for a second season in November 2024 - meaning it won't be another one-season Netflix casualty.

Critics on Rotten Tomatoes - who rated the show a decent 83 percent - described it as: "A frothy series that carries off the classic murder mystery with a light touch, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder's checks all the boxes for a sweetly satisfying binge."

Fans rated it 68 percent on the review site, as one penned: "What a show! Binge-watched in a day. A murder mystery with a soul. Riveting plot. Incredible storyline. Keeps you hooked."

A second wrote: "Emma Myers is great! It had us guessing until the end and hope they do more," as a third agreed: "An absolutely stunning story that follows the book perfectly, the acting cast was perfect and on the dot. Absolute masterpiece!"

The praise continued over on X, formerly Twitter, where one social media user admitted: "I fear I'm binge watching A Good Girl's Guide to Murder.

"I didn't even think I would like it this much but I'm on episode 4 out of 6."

A second typed: "Just binge watched A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and it was worth the watch, my girls who love plot twists, suspense and murder shows in general, check it out."
