Fans are calling for Ryan Gosling to join the MCU after his new flick The Gray Man was hailed the ‘best Netflix movie’ ever released.

The Gray Man stars Gosling as a covert CIA agent known only as Six, who accidentally discovers dark secrets from within the agency, prompting his former colleague Lloyd Hansen (played by Chris Evans) to place a bounty on his head.

What follows is a global man-hunt from a bunch of international assassins all hoping to kill Six and get their hands on the money.

Alongside Evans and Gosling, the movie also stars Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton and British star Regé-Jean Page.

It was directed by Joe and Anthony Russo – the guys behind Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War.

And now cinephiles have urged MCU bosses to get Gosling involved with Marvel’s Cinematic Universe following his turn as Six.

Taking to Twitter in their droves, one fan penned: "After watching The Grayman we need to see Gosling in the MCU.

"I dug #TheGrayMan totally fun action movie. The big thing I took away from this is Ryan Gosling needs to be in the MCU!" another added.

"I absolutely need Ryan Gosling in the MCU in a physical role. No magic. Just ass kicking."

That’s not all though as Kevin Feige, the man behind the MCU, responded to rumours about Gosling potentially joining the cinematic world after the actor expressed interest in wanting to play Ghost Rider.

"Ryan’s amazing. I’d love to find place for him in the MCU," Feige told MTV News at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend.

He joked: "He dresses up as Ken on Venice Beach and gets more press and than [some of the] giant movies coming out."

The comments come as the film was hailed as the 'best movie' Netflix has put out.

It was released in cinemas on 15 July before landing on Netflix on 22 July, much to the delight of action-movie fans.

Posting on Twitter, one fan said: "Watched The Gray Man last night. The best movie Netflix put out so far."

Another wrote: "The Gray Man was one of the best Netflix originals I’ve seen. Bad ass movie."

Someone else commented: "The Gray Man is one of the best movies Netflix has produced imo [in my opinion]. It’s pretty decent. And I really enjoyed the dialogue too. Plus it had Chris Evans soo.”

A fourth tweeted: “The Gray Man might be the best Netflix action movie ever.”

If you fancy seeing what all the fuss is about, The Gray Man is streaming on Netflix right now.
