A 2015 documentary dubbed a 'must-watch' by viewers is set to leave streaming in the next few days and it really is something that 'can't be ignored'.

Because there is so much to watch on the likes of Netflix, Disney+, Prime and Hulu these days, many films and TV shows are removed from those popular streaming services to make room for new releases.

For example, a 'haunting' movie that cemented its director as 'master of horror' is leaving Netflix very soon, while a fellow show on the streaming platform is leaving at the turn of the year, much to fans' outrage.

Now, a documentary/film with an 'amazing' ending is set to leave streaming after previously being available to watch with a Disney+/Hulu bundle.

Racing Extinction follows filmmaker Louie Psihoyos, along with activists, scientists and experts drawing attention to mankind's role in a potential loss of at least half of the world's species.

For anyone into science, you really should give it a go if you have chance over the coming days - but don't just listen to me, there are a ton of reviews out there telling you to do likewise.

One fan wrote on Rotten Tomatoes: "Must watch. Makes us see our impact on this big blue. Shows us how ignorant governments are despite causing mass extinction of species by over exploitation and by serious misbeliefs."

A second added: "A beautiful and most eye opening film dedicated to many extinct and thousands waiting to become extinct species of our world. It's now or never to save our species, most our children will never see."

While a third remarked: "Beautifully inspiring film! Reminds me why I care about this planet, and it reignited the fire that burns inside for our mother and all her amazing creatures, if we all work together we can save species from extinction, our planet and ourselves. All creatures are worth saving."

Racing Extinction sits at a 82 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, suggesting it is certainly worth your time in the coming days.

Joe Neumaier, from the New York Times, penned: "If you've ever wondered what a breaking heart sounds like, it's right here in the futile warble of the last male of a species of songbird, singing for a mate that will never come."

And Variety's review states: "Racing Extinction tends to be far more effective when presenting its enlightened activists as heroes."

Be quick as Racing Extinction is set to leave streaming on September 7.
