We've all heard the rumors about secret Netflix codes, right?

If not, allow me to enlighten you. The secret Netflix codes are a mysterious collection of numbers that promise to deliver just what you want to watch, exactly when you want to watch it - you just have to know what you're looking for.

Sure, you could go with the streamer's regular old genre collections, like 'drama', but where's the intrigue in that? If you want to feel like you're cracking into a hidden part of Netflix, we've got you covered with codes that reveal some of the best titles on the streamer - including one series created by Shane Gillis and Steve Gerben.

The series we're talking about falls under arguably one of the best Netflix 'hidden code' categories, titled 'Watch in One Weekend'.

That's right - it's an entire collection of shows and titles you can squeeze into just 48 hours.

What is the 'Watch In One Weekend' Netflix code?

This particular code is among those that have been revealed by Netflix in an article written for Tudum, which offers all the insight into the hidden categories.

If you're looking to watch a series in one weekend, the code you need is '3182735'. If you're on a tighter schedule, you could even go for the 'Watch in One Night' category, which is under code 3178549.

What titles can you watch in one weekend?

In this category, you'll find a series created not only by Gillis, but starring him too.

Titled Tires, the series is currently made up of 18 episodes, though creators confirmed this month that it will be back for a third season.

And if the promise of watching the whole series in a matter of hours wasn't enough to entice you, then the fact that fans have described it as 'amazing' and 'freaking hilarious' might do the trick.

After watching the show, one fan wrote: "If you havent [sic] watched Tires yet on Netflix you’re seriously missing out."

Another added: "Tires on Netflix is so funny. Massively inappropriate at times and actually surprised it’s allowed to be shown. The HR episode in S1 is amazing."

Where did the Netflix codes come from?

According to Mary Bertone, of Netflix’s evidence team, the background of the codes is deeply embedded in Netflix's history.

If you're over a certain age, you'll probably remember that Netflix used to exist as a DVD service. At that time, the website had a genre tree which linked out to various types of movies and series, and all of these had its own specific ID code.

After one particularly dedicated Netflix user scraped the tree to gain access to the codes, they were made accessible online and thus the mystery of the 'hidden codes' was born.

Now, with the code for the 'Watch in One Weekend' collection secured, go and enjoy your bingeing session!
