Twitch star xQc leaves fans concerned after abruptly ending live stream

Twitch users are worried about xQc.

People are worried about Twitch star xQc after he abruptly ended his livestream early to deal with what appeared to be an emergency.

The Canadian streamer, whose real name is Felix Lengyel, was four hours into a broadcast when he announced he'd have to cut things short and that he was in a 'crazy' headspace.

Typically, Felix's Twitch livestreams can last anywhere between 12 and 20 hours, and it's quite out of character for him to go offline so suddenly.

So naturally, fans were pretty concerned when he shut down his broadcast on Tuesday (22 November) out of the blue.

Fans saw Felix take quite a few breaks for phone calls before he threw in the towel altogether, telling viewers: "Chat, I’m not going to sugar-coat anything and make things weird, okay?

"Something is happening and, chat, it’s the first time in my entire career I’ve done this before. Something is going on that needs my full attention and I have to attend to it and give it my full attention, I just have to."

Rushing through his goodbyes, he continued: "That's it. End of story. I don’t want to make things weird or odd, I just have to end and just go.

"I’m too in a crazy headspace. I have to go through this and we’re good. I have never done this and I hope you understand.

"I want to give a big shout out to everybody today, massive love, much love."

Almost immediately after he announced he had to leave, xQc's chat was filled with comments from fans wishing him well.

"Hope everything is fine," wrote one viewer.

"You're all good bro," commented a second.

A third told him: "Take your time", and a fourth added: "Stay safe."

This incident comes just weeks after Felix announced that he was officially dating UK streamer NYXXII, shutting down rumours that he was back together with his ex-girlfriend, another Twitch streamer, Adept.

Adept and xQc had a rather dramatic breakup earlier this year before officially calling it quits in September.

Discussing the unsuccessful relationship with his followers, xQc claimed that he sometimes felt like he had to choose between Adept and his brother - he was living with both at the time.

More recently, though, xQc seemed thrilled in his new relationship, posting a video titled 'I Got a Girlfriend' to his YouTube channel earlier this month to share the good news.

Since Tuesday's livestream came to its sudden end, people still haven't heard from xQc, so it's uncertain what exactly happened behind the scenes.
