Taylor Lautner and his wife Taylor Lautner have found a way to identify each other individually

Taylor Lautner and his wife Taylor Lautner have appeared to come up with an easy way to differentiate their names.

In case you missed it, the Twilight star got hitched to Taylor Lautner née Dome, in November last year.

The pair said their vows in a stunning ceremony at the Epoch Estate Wines, in California and after their nuptials Taylor took her husband’s surname meaning they were both Taylor Lautner. I kind of hope they have a kid and call it Taylor Lautner, too - just to complete the set.

In an interview prior to their wedding, Taylor admitted that them having the same name might make things a bit confusing and even checked in with his future wife on the matter.

"Are you into this last name?” he asked her. “‘Cause we already share one name. So it’s gonna be extra complicated.

“We’re literally going to be the same person." What could be more romantic than that, right?

However, it appears they’ve come up with a solution to the problem - if you click on their Instagram profiles, you’ll see that the 31-year-old actor uses the name Taylor Lautner, whereas his wife goes by Tay Lautner.

Weirdly, Taylor isn’t the first Taylor that Taylor has dated - are you keeping up?

Back in 2009, he began a romantic relationship with his Valentine’s Day co-star Taylor Swift. Maybe his type is just women called Taylor?

The pair dated for a year before calling it quits; he then had a couple of other high-profile partners, including Billie Lourde and Lily Collins, before meeting his wife-to-be in 2018.

Last year, Taylor revealed that her childhood crush was actually her husband’s Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. Awkward.

Back in July, she took part in the viral challenge that asks people to share a photo of their childhood crush and then a photo of who they ‘ended up with’.

In the clip, she looked slightly apprehensive as she first shared a couple of snaps of Robert Pattinson, who played Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies, and then her and Taylor, who played Jacob Black.

For those unfamiliar with the flicks, Edward and Jacob were fierce love rivals both competing to win the heart of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), who eventually chooses Edward.

Posting the video she wrote: “I think it’s time to come clean…”

Fortunately, Taylor managed to see the funny side, responding to the clip he wrote: “‘bout time I won something.”
