Actor Tom Holland was taken to hospital after filming a stunt for the upcoming Spider-Man movie that resulted in him being injured.
Tom Holland is currently filming the fourth entry into his series of Spider-Man films, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Earlier this year, images of the set and scenes were captured and shared around on social media, showing that some of the scenes were being shot in the UK.
Holland reportedly injured his head in a fall and was treated for a concussion on September 19 as he was filming in Leavesden Studios in Watford, UK.

Filming for the day was reportedly suspended after the incident.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman told the Sun about the incident.
They said: “We were called at 10.30am on Friday to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at Leavesden Studios in Watford.
“An ambulance was sent to the scene, and the patient was transported to hospital for further care.”

Holland’s comedian father, Dominic, also addressed the injury at a charity dinner, saying that his son would be taking a break from filming ‘for a while’.
Holland was at the dinner, accompanied by his fiancée Zendaya, however, reportedly left earlier after feeling unwell.
It is not clear how production for the film will continue without Holland, or whether this will force the release date of the flick, July of 2026, will be pushed back.

Ahead of starting filming, Holland expressed his excitement about shooting the next instalment, considering there were rumors that Spider-Man: No Way Home, was going to be his final superhero outing as the wall-climbing web slinger.
Speaking to Complex, he said: “It’s been a really fun process developing the movie."

"It’s the first time I’ve ever been allowed in that part of the process, and it’s definitely a stressful experience. But I think where we’ve got to, now that we’re shooting, we are shooting absolute gold.”

"It's a fresh start, it really feels like we're not making the fourth movie," he added. "We're making the first movie of the next chapter," he continued. "It's a rebirth. It's a whole new thing."
Holland also noted that he had done covert research into what fans wanted for the next movie, by seeing what fans reactions were to previous films to see what they wanted for the latest Spider-Man outing.
The cast for Brand New Day sees Holland return alongside Jacob Batalon and Zendaya as well as new additions like Stranger Things Sadie Sink.
