Travis Kelce got the green light from Taylor Swift’s bodyguard to pull off an adorably romantic move during their dreamy night out in New York City.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the pop singer, both 35, spent the evening dining at a Manhattan restaurant last Friday (June 20).
As the pair exited their car, Kelce jumped out first and walked around to the other side to open the door for the ‘Love Story’ singer before offering his hand to help her get out.

Fans captured the moment and posted a video of it on X (formerly Twitter). “I can’t even explain what him opening the door for her does to me, and [her] bodyguard waiting on him because he knows he wants to do it,” a fan gushed.
“The way he has a whole system down with her security is so special to me,” a Swiftie responded.
“Then him tapping her bodyguard like thanks haha,” someone else noted.
Referencing the same moment in the clip, a fan commented: “And it looked like the one bodyguard was poised to open her door if he did not come that way, saw him coming, backed up, and T acknowledged him with a pat on the arm.”
A different follower noted: “It’s an adorable routine between him and the bodyguards.”

At the same time Kelce made the romantic gesture, Swift’s bodyguard gave Kelce a nod of approval as this is usually performed by her security team (albeit in a less romantic way).
The three-time Super Bowl champ then walked into the restaurant while holding his girlfriend’s hand.
More fan-cam footage shows Kelce shaking the hand of a restaurant employee before leaving the building, as Swift follows behind closely.
The pair once again held hands as they left the restaurant and entered a car that was waiting to pick them up.

Swift has been keeping a relatively low profile in recent weeks, however, back in May she announced she had purchased the master recordings of her music, which she referred to as her 'entire life's work'.

She'd originally lost the rights to her first six albums' master recordings in 2019, following the expiration of her contract with Big Machine Label Group the previous year.
They were eventually sold to Scooter Braun, who formerly managed Justin Bieber, through his company, Ithaca Holdings, before being picked up by Shamrock Capital in late 2020.

However, after '20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away', Swift managed to retain the rights once more, as she said: "All the times I was this close, reaching out for it, only for it to fall through."

She continued: "But that's all in the past now… I really get to say these words: All of the music I've ever made… now belongs to me.
"All of my music videos. All the concert films. The album art and photography. The unreleased songs. The memories. The magic. The madness. Every single era. My entire life's work."

According to Billboard, Shamrock initially sold the rights for around $360 million and they reportedly sold it to Swift for close to what they'd originally paid for it.
And in other news, Kelce confirmed he has no plans to retire in the immediate future and will play the upcoming season.
Speaking to Kansas City Media, he addressed rumours that he seriously considered retiring this year after the Super Bowl, which his team lost.
"I love football. I don't think I really thought about it that much," Kelce told reporters, per NFL. “I love coming in to work every single day. It wasn't a very tough one for me. I know I'm getting older, but at the same time I still feel like I've got a lot I can prove in this league. With that being said, it really wasn't that hard of a decision for me."
