Sandra Levin, the mother of Selena Gomez's husband, music producer Benny Blanco, was forced to hide in her own home after intruders forced entry and burglarized the property.
Levin was enjoying an evening at the property in Studio City on Monday evening, when two individuals dressed in dark clothing broke into the house at around 9.30pm after smashing a glass door on the side of the building.
Hearing a commotion, Levin immediately ran upstairs and barricaded herself in a bathroom inside a bedroom while she called the police for help.
It was while hiding here that she heard intruders walk upstairs and open the door to a bedroom.

Peeking out of the door to see what was happening, the intruders spotted Levin and immediately fled, but the whole ordeal has left her understandably shaken.

It is currently unknown what, if anything, was stolen.
No injuries were reported in the break-in, and it was unclear if the suspects, who were wearing dark clothing and masks according to NBC4, were armed.

The terrifying incident comes just two months after Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco tied the knot at a private 70-acre estate just north of Santa Barbara, in California - roughly an hour-and-a-half drive north along the coastline from Los Angeles.

The couple’s romance first kicked off in 2019, when Gomez and Blanco collaborated on the song 'I Can't Get Enough', which was released in February that year.
Its music video was shared the following month and featured Gomez interacting with Blanco in a teddy bear costume.

Blanco also co-produced Gomez's track 'Single Soon', which was released in August 2023. It would later turn out that she wasn't, in fact, single at the time of the song's release.
In December of that year, Gomez confirmed she and Blanco had been dating, responding to a series of comments to fans on Instagram calling the producer her 'absolute everything' and admitting they'd actually been seeing each other for six months already.
A year later - on December 11, 2024 - Gomez revealed the pair had gotten engaged.
